I'm curious what people's estimates are for how much porn is being made these days. Let's say, for now, stick to studio-made porn. My best guess is that in porn valley, it's somewhere between 80-100 scenes per week. But I could be way off. I have no idea what the volume would be in Florida and Europe.
This is just something I'm curious about. I'm not making any sort of larger point, though others of course are free to do so.

Im of the opinion porn is (and has been for years) oversaturated. How long would it take to watch all porn made up to this point?

^I think you are confusing quantity produced with desire to buy/watch. I think Porn Scout's number on the surface looks high but in fact it's more than likely on the low side (if we only consider major studios) because Brazzer and Girlsway release about 60 videos each month and I can think of at least another half dozen studios who release 6 videos per month so it's unlikely that anyone could watch all that porn but more importantly most people are like me and they don't care for even half of the porn produce on a monthly basis.

I don't even think of quantity of porn based on the production of companies, but of the scenes shot by my favorite performers. Riley Reid, Abella Danger and Adriana Chechik are examples of popular actresses who have over a hundred scenes, an amount nobody has time to go through.

Very interesting topic. No question the market is oversaturated, which begs the question, if so much is being produced, are producers loosing money? If they're loosing money, how are they still producing or why??

It's vastly over-saturated, if you consider the totality of porn. But who watches EVERYTHING? Who is even interested in EVERYTHING?
I don't know about the typical/average porn consumer, but for myself, 10% or less of ALL porn even interests me enough to watch it, even if it were free.
And of that 10%, only 10% of it has women/acts that interest me. And of that 10%, less than half of it is worth watching, due to "bad" co-stars or camera or editing or directing or such. But for the 95%+ of porn that doesn't interest me, there are people who ARE interested in it. I think the key to survival for the producers is to have a niche product which is very well done, which will attract devoted customers. Or to have a broad-based mass quantity/volume of product which has enough appeal to enough customers who just want "some porn".

^ I agree with you. I don't think there's an oversaturation in this current era. I think there was an oversaturation during the DVD era when there was just so many low quality DVDs taking up shelf space and retailers had to decide what to stock. But in the streaming online era where the consumer can pick and choose what they want to watch I don't think there's an oversaturation problem because everyone just chooses their kink and can ignore everything that doesn't appeal to them.
