But "some" is the key word, because that appeal is definitely limited to a small minority of porn viewers. My post that you commented on, replaced a more blunt one, that was eliminated by a moderator. Still, many would consider the softer post that elicited your reaction, to be a poor example of "white knighting" since it indicated that the image of an 85 year old Nina Hartley doing porn would be pretty unappealing. Actually had some concern that if Nina were to read that line she might be offended by thinking that I was trying to use her as a gross example.(Well, only such an example if she does not retire from porn before 85.) The thing is that there are roles in porn that call for older women. Like playing the mom of a younger pornstar or playing an older character in a parody or the obvious...granny porn. I think most porn watchers to watch hot women and age isn't really that important. I think older porstars need to move to specifically playing "older" parts when they have to hide body parts. When a star has to always wear stockings, garters, and such to hide paunch, flab, spider-veins, stretch-marks, etc., that woman has probably lost some of their mainstream porn appeal and can only survive in porn plying those roles. If the woman still has the body that can turn heads I think they can still have a viable porn career doing a variety of roles.
If a person hangs on at over 100 in 80 years from now, that person may not be too old to be a porn star for what we know, so this is not a valid question. There really isn't a universal answer to this. For some porn watchers that like'em young 25 years old might be too old. For others there might not be an age limit. Rather depends how long their looks last & if they can stay in decent shape. Obviously gravity, elastine loss, getting wrinkles etc is a problem for everybody as they get older-even with a good diet & exercise you are going to age. Getting surgery done doesn;t work-lots of people in porn & mainstream society get facial work done & it nearly always ends up looking weird & in many cases downright awful like Joan Rivers. However, looking at the marketplace, it would seem that a majority of the results for those searches must be videos that also include younger performers. This definitely not a poll, I think every reply deserves an explanation. I am hooked on 60 plus milfs. Some of the females on those sites have better bodies than talent in their 20's.
