..How old were you when you realized you were gay?
..Did you stay in the closet for a while?
..Are you still in the closet?
..Have you ever been physically threatened due to your sexual preferences?

Very early on, when most of my male cousins and friends went through phases of being infatuated with girls, I wasn't. I knew I was different well before puberty. I've never been attracted to the opposite sex.

Yes, I was well-closeted (at least, I thought I was). I found out later that nearly everyone I knew figured that I wasn't going to mention it, they surely wouldn't. I wish they had: it might have saved me a lot of grief. I didn't know that there was such a thing as a homosexual other than the queer pervert child molesters who ought to be put to death until after I left my small southern town and went to college.

Hell, no: once I finally cracked the closet door, I hit it with about 200 pounds of C4 !!!

I've been threatened, teased, picked on, assaulted, beaten, kidnapped and nearly murdered because of my sexual 'preference.' I cannot imagine anyone choosing to be gay were it not genetically programmed in his/her makeup.

Sexual "preference" didn't sound right when I wrote it. Maybe sexual "orientation" is better?

I wasn't aiming my statement specifically at you. 'Preference' is used by the amerikan taliban on purpose to emphasize their attempts to disenfranchise gays. And, yes, 'orientation' is a better word choice.

Jeez... I probably figured out that I was gay around... shit fourth grade. Well, more like admited it to myself. Didn't come out until I was in high school though. Although that didn't stop me from loosing my virginity at 12 to a football player (high school. Big mistake). While I was in the closet no one really knew. And now that I'm out people still can't believe I am. Guess people still expect the stereo type.

After I came out, I stayed out. It's been good since. No major issues. Hell no one even dares mention the word fag around me. Guess I scare the shit out of people that way. Kind of lost the nice boy image around the same time I came out.

Being attracted to girls before puberty, not here.
While others were dry humping girls with 10/11, I just watched and thought nothing of it.
Attraction to girls started with 13 maybe.

kidnapped???

Around seven years old. I noticed around 2nd grade that I had the same silly thoughts about girls that I had about boys. I would sit in class thinking that Beth's hair was so shiny and soft looking and how nice it would be to touch it. Then Juan would walk me half-way home (he lived closer to school than me) and I'd have the same silly thoughts about how thrilling it would be if he would hold my hand.

I knew without anyone telling me that it was okay for everyone to know I "liked" Juan, but that something bad would happen if they knew I "liked" Beth. I quit worrying about it around junior high. I had a girlfriend and you'd have had to be deaf, blind and stupid to not pick up on it. Since she was my first significant relationship, I'd have to say I never spent any time closeted.

Uhh... nah, wanna see the videos?

Yes. But not since 9th grade. People seem to be a lot less threatened by female homosexuality. Bisexuals don't even appear to count anymore, it's cool to go both ways, now.
