I have shot a few independant movies in my native England but the talent is severely lacking over here so I'm heading to the US. Without being too bigheaded or anything I think I know what makes a good scene and I really want to prove I have what it takes. Any advice would be greatly appreciated (Apart from things like "Don't bother" or is that just what people in the UK industry say???) The US industry is slowly collapsing, and unless you are already onboard or tight with people who are, the odds of securing a steady gig in porno are pretty low. You can always rent an overpriced dump in Van Nuys, and join the legions of BTS guys, cum-moppers and driver/PA dudes, and supplement the measley pay by working as a mope dropping loads on Saturday mornings, and in about five years maybe you'll work up to getting a few try out shoots ... I don't know. The scenario out there looks pretty grim to me, esp,. if you haven't paid any dues and no one knows you. [Link] |
