It seems the balance is starting to tilt towards Blu-Ray. How do you think this will affect the future of adult video. Right now HD DVD has a larger library of adult video in addition more adult studios. Perhaps... -it will slow down the migration of adult video to high definition -increase the cost to studios and consumers -be a barrier for studios without deep pockets Your oppinions are appreciated. Gonzo is documentary at heart, so local TV newsteam handheld style is practially erotic in and of itself. Cheap, fast and dirty. We'll see how it goes. I still have some old VHS tapes I found in the closet. I'll probably throw them out tomorrow. But I think if all porn gets too slick looking it won't be porn anymore. [Link] |

The center of home entertainment is still most often a big screen TV in the living room and downloads are not there just yet. We might expect to see Full HD (1080p + decent bitrate + the right codec) VOD to be more commonplace in five to ten year time span. The current HD VOD is pretty much crap compared to that (usually delivered in highly compressed 720p). [Link] |
