Sorry if this topic is not new. I did a search for "hpv" and nothing came up.

Just wondering how people in general deal with this apparently common and very contagious virus. If you have it do you usually communicate the fact with a new sex partner?

I am particularly interested on how do porn actors deal with it. Do they just accept having it?

Do you avoid having sex if you have genital warts until they are treated? Whats the best way to treat them?

My stance before has been that asking health-related questions in an anonymous forum is foolish at best; in the worst case, you will receive erroneous information that could lead to grave health consequences.

That said, I don't have answers to your specific questions on how porn stars deal with this issue. My guess is that they treat genital warts with the standard methods and maybe take some time off.

I can't tell from your post if you have any knowledge whatsoever of HPV or if you've even bothered to search the web first.

HPV is a family of viruses, with over a hundred strains known. Over thirty are genitally transmitted, but only two strains cause genital warts. I believe there are four strains that cause cervical cancer, but these are different than those that cause warts.

You should talk to a doctor or healthcare practitioner for more information. Online you could try Planned Parenthood, some sexual education sites, the CDC, or even Wikipedia.

Good luck.
