| Flash Golden Age Classic 11017 Posts 5/01 | The documentary I Always Said Yes: The Many Lives of Wakefield Poole is out on Vimeo and coming to other U.S. VOD services this Friday. The documentary covers the life of Wakefield Poole, who make such notable films as Bijou, Boys in the Sand, and Bible! (all available from Vinegar Syndrome). Vinegar Syndrome has the release of Take One, with Moving! coming out later this month. The documentary, by Jim Tushinski, is absolutely amazing. While Poole is a gay adult filmmaker, I put this in The Feature Side because I think it will be of interest to some of the participants in this forum since he made classic films that went beyond just sex. My review of I Always Said Yes. [Link] |
