NOT ONLY DO YOU NOT KNOW EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED YOU DON NOT HAVE THE SLIGHTEST CLUE WHAT SO EVER HAPPENED. THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS THAT HAVE BEEN DONE FOR THE PEOLE CAUGHT UP IN THIS SITUATION THAT NO ONE WILL EVER KNOW ABOUT BECAUSE THAT IS THE WAY THESE PEOPLE WANT IT.

Thanks for informing me. I stand corrected. I get all my information about the porn industry through these boards and I missed that information. You are right, I should done more research. I will argue with you that I wasn't making an attack. Like everyone else on the outside these past few weeks, I've been watching the events unfold with a mixture of shock & concern. I won't apologize for asking the questions I have recently because they do come from a sincere place.

The last thing I'm looking for or need, is extra attention and I speak the truth as I know it. Clearly I can't know everything and welcome any & all information from as many sources as possible.

The concept of AIM is great, the disclosure models and protocols are great, and Sharon Mitchell has proven that she cannot follow them properly. The concept is good, the execution leaves a LOT to be desired. Let us emphasize yet again that the PRIMARY cause of this crisis has NOTHING to do with AIM and everything to do with careless and uncaring practices by producers and performers, especially while working overseas, where testing is not consistent, reliable, nor required. But that, too, does not insulate AIM from valid criticism.

To answer your question: yes, I've seen hundreds of test results from AIM, and I know several of the doctors. The quality of the doctors or the quality of the tests are not the problem. The doctors, however, are not running the administrative, PR, or reporting roles of the clinic; Mitch is - and she's botching it. There is NOTHING wrong with the medical competence of the clinic or their clinical practices. But Mitch should, MUST be replaced with a public-health care professional, preferably someone who holds both an M.D. and an M.P.H. At a guess, the difference between what AIM pays Mitch and what they would have to pay a competent and qualified director would be maybe $50,000 a year. Sounds more than worth it to me.

as a former employee of avn i know you have alot more knowledge of the adult buisness than i do. but as a medical proffessional i'll bet i have alot more knowledge about whats really going on here from a medical standpoint than you.

this is what can make these boards very informative..when informed individuals speak their minds..... its when uninformed individuals speak with what they claim to be authority on a subject that the real message gets lost in the dust.
