If you're in need of one, you might be able to pick one up cheap. Maybe not a good, recent one but a card nonetheless. Do they have used computer shops in Toronto? I used to get all kinds of cheap stuff at a good one they had near me when I lived in Ohio. It was crazy. They were selling good stuff dirt cheap. Of course, you never really knew if it worked or not until you got it home but I didn't get many duds from there. Mostly it was just stuff people didn't need so they sold it to the shop cheap and the shop marked it up a bit and resold it. This was back in the day but I remember getting a monitor and a hard drive for $20 each. Any kind of cable you could imagine could be had for under $4. At the time, 3.5" floppies were popular. I got a 3.5" floppy drive for $2.50. Some stuff was even new in the box. If you can find one of those, you should check it out.

I wasn't quite that generous. I gave RP an 8600 card, not an 8800. When my 8600GT started developing a vibrating fan, I upgraded it to an 8800GTS. At the same time, I had the PC manufacturer replace the 8600GT for me, as it was still under warranty. It was the replacement 8600GT that I sent to Random Precision.
