I work from home and we also have an office in town (6 miles away). At home we have satellite and it sucks. It is incredibly slow, even with a 1 meter dish and just doesn't cut it for some tasks. At the office we have cable which makes it easier to get work done on the SQL server box. (I'm stuck at home for a few more days still recovering from pneumonia and dealing with our dog that was shot by a neighbor.) So a sometimes I have to be content with a simple reboot and worry about it later. [Link] |
