Maybe it's because most U.S. girls are recruited from strip clubs, and/or the girls just want to get into the biz. In Europe some agents walk around and accosting beautiful girls on the streets. By no means in all of Europe. It's more of an eastern block/Russian thing. Culture and fashion vary massively over here - over what others would consider a small continent.

@Royal Tee: you may indeed be watching some of the wrong stuff if you don't like it too extreme. Talent usually follows the money. I think that one reason the women in European movies, especially the Eastern European low budget ones, seem to lack 'enthusiasm', has probably got to do with the quality of the male performers. If you look at the old Rocco, Nacho or Manuel Ferrara scenes shot in Europe(und naturlich Steve Holmes), the women seem to enjoy their scenes just fine.
