I really like the emphasis on plot, which I thought was more interesting than the sex scenes. But speaking of the sex in the movie, it isn't as rough as I thought it would be. And the bondage stuff didn't bother me at all. Hey, it's part of the story, and I don't think it was too radical. This is definitely the most mainstream-looking porno film I've ever seen, and that's what I like about it. This is what a feature porno film is supposed to be like.  [Link] |

Either way, it is quite the film and it is kind of cool that we occassionally get threads like this one from ADTers who held out for a while and then finally gave in and saw that "Fashionistas" is as good as advertized. The sex isn't as well shot as it could be but the rest is far more polished than anything else I've seen in porn so far .

Let's not get crazy here. It is a big-budget adult film with great production values, and it is my favorite adult film of all time. But it is still far from being mainstream-film caliber. Golden Age flicks are far more deserving of the comparison.
