The UK porn scene certainly isn't what it once was and as has been commented a lot of it is focused on cosmetic surgery and tattoos. I don't know why it has come to this but I often think that a lot of it is to do with reality TV and celebrity based culture and you really cannot tell the difference between the Only Way is Essex and some of UK porn.
