I don't know why it has come to this but I often think that a lot of it is to do with reality TV and celebrity based culture and you really cannot tell the difference between the Only Way is Essex and some of UK porn. Call me cynical but I often wonder whether sometimes the desire to be famous is the reason why UK porn is in such poor shape insofar that some look like they're going through the motions for where it may lead in the future rather than living in the moment and having fun. Although that is my outlook it doesn't mean to say that there isn't any talent. I very much enjoyed Rhiannon Ryder, Carmel Anderson and Amber Deens recent stuff and look forward to what Charlie Ten may do in the future plus actresses like Alessa Savage and Stella Cox have also done very good stuff although I know the latter is Italian by birth. The lack of an infrastructure is also a problem with no major products as such and a declining print media. I did pick up Escort the other day and although it wasn't bad the quality compared to say 10-15 years ago was noticeable. [Link]
