Many times I like to not hear a lot of moaning and screaming. To me, it gives the impression that they are focused on the action. Heavy breathing is even better. the fact is that multiple "Oh Yeahs!!!" take me away from the moment. What do you think?

Can sound fake especially if when you are doing your girlfriend, she's not screamin "fuck me" every ten seconds :-)

Sometimes when a vid has multiple language soundtracks, you get to choose the noisiness of the scene by shifting languages! Obviously they're using different dubbing moaners for different tracks. <gg>

In Masquerade for example the first (doctors and patient) scene with the adorable ingenue Alexandra Shiffer is way more subtle and erotic on the French track than the English one.

This isn't always true in that vid though. The secretary is just about as noisy in French as she is in English. <g>

What I tend to like best of all is trash talking while fucking. Chole can be real good at that. E.g. "I Came, Did You", which she also directed.

dexplorer, I definitely agree, trash talking is great. I like trash talking, I like ordering, but sometimes I really like to not hear much at all. And deep gasps will put me through the roof. It totally arouses me because I think those girls are oft times more into it than the girls who repeatedly say "Oh Yeah!". It seems to me like they are doing what they think viewers want to see and hear, rather than going with the flow. It is suprising how much more I think a chick is into it when she hardly makes a sound ass opposed to continually making the same sound. The monotony of repeated phrases bores the hell out of me most of the time.

OHGOD!!YEAH!!!OHGOD!!!OHGOD!!!OHGOD!!OHGOD!OHGOD!!
FUCK ME!!!YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! YES!!!YES!!! YES!!!

I couldn't agree more, Endo. Especially when it's from the get go, and doesn't let up. That's just so fake, and leaves nothing to build up to. I have to mute some of those scenes to even get through them.

It is so much hotter and more realistic to just hear the breathing and *sloshing* sounds of sex, and I'm not talking about a waterbed. However, squeaking bedsprings, pounding headboards, rickety furniture, etc. are always welcome and arousing to me as well.

Great Topic! Couldn't agree more!

I'll take "sloshing" and bedsprings any day over

"fuck me...yeeeaahh...fuck me...yeeeaahh...harder...yeeeaahh...<loop>"

Great point, too, Dex, about the multi-language thing. I've seen some people rag on the bad dubbing and all, but I kind like it, actually. Like you said, if you don't like how it's sounding in English, see if the chick calms down a bit in German, French, Italian, or Spanish! That said...you gotta dig the bonus of getting "dirty talk" lessons in four other languages! Yeah, baby!

ABSOLUTELY!!

I actually seriously do love brushing up (and expanding <gg>) my high school French by watching vids the second time and after with that sound track. <gg>

sloshing is great. Not much beats the sound of a wet pussy. It shows the girl is more into it than an Oh Yeah.

This thread was meant to be more of a salute to some moments of silence and to see if others felt the same way. Heck, I have taken so many stabs at the OH Yeahs and such that I didn't mean to go on a rant....again.

But, while we're on the topic...I want to clarify something with the pornstars present and ask a question. First, I don't want this thread or previous comments to make you feel self conscious when performing. I just want an honest expression. Sometimes it seems that the OH Yeahs are said because that is what the women THINK we want to hear. I just want to hear somewhat honest self expression. I say "somewhat" cause lets face it I wouldn't want to see a porno where the chick says "get off of me you smelly hog". Ok, maybe just once just for a good laugh.

the question for the ladies is...If you do repeated OH yeahs and such, why do you do it? Is it your self expression? What you think the viewer wants? Or does the director insist upon it?

Good question Endo.

What I want the performers to do is to think what THEY THEMSELVES sound like when they are REALLY enjoying the sex, and then sound like that. But also to pay attention to what they sound like at the beginning, and then what they sound like after it starts to build. Not the same all the way through. In other words, act as if the particualar time is a really good on, even if it isn't. But don't act as if they are some phony pornstar who's supposed to make lots of noise.

It's intensity that's hot, not loudness per se.

I TRY not to do icky moaning and fake noise and dumb Oh Yeahs... but if you don't make enough noise the directors scold you with things like "c'mon people, this isn't a silent movie" or "you're putting me to sleep, let's hear something".
Most naughty talk just makes me want to laugh, I mean really giggle, like a schoolgirl. I don't even cuss hardly ever in my regular life. Saying things like "oh baby, fuck me harder" is more likely to result in me cramming my face into the nearest surface to keep from howling with laughter than in my wails and moans of pleasure.

In my off camera sex life I'm pretty quiet, not silent quiet, but more taken to squeaks and squeals and gasps than moans, groans and screaming. I'm not sure I've ever said something naughty to an off camera partner, it's quite possible I never have. I try to bring my own reactions with me when I do scenes, even if I have to jazz them up a little to make them noisy and energetic enough for the directors (and the consumers, I suppose) I don't pretend to like things I'm not liking, and if I like something I try to make it show special. This probably doesn't help my career, I'm sure shrieking orgasms and writhing convulsions of pleasure are what is required for greatness in this business, but I'm just not built for lying. So be it.

I tell you something guys that is way better than moaning and screaming.

When you are with your partner, and you both look into each other's eyes. THe eyes say everything. It tells me "you are the MAN" "Give it to me" It is like you are on the same level and know what each other want.

Just my two cents.

Kimi --

What I look for is intensity in a performer. There are LOTS of different ways of showing it. The best way is rarely through making the most noise, although that is a cheap and easy way of faking some degree of it, for the undiscerning.

No doubt the intensity often has to be acted, or enhanced beyond what would just come if the performer just let things ride. Though I think acting up the intensity can sometimes lead to it actually happening up at that level. You know, method acting, that turns into the real thing sometimes, or close. Etc.

(I love little squeals by the way. <gg>)
