zwgfrxhiel Member 598 Posts 4/23	Posted - May 1 2023 : 6:32AM I've noticed that in the last decade porn is taking itself more seriously with stuff like multi scene series revolving around a plot, bdsm becoming more mainstream, VMG producing it's glamorous content. The premises are becoming more detailed and plots becoming more realistic. Realistic, in the sense that it is not nonsensical. It's easier to immerse yourself in the story, a lot like movies. I really love that the cheesy acting and almost comic "plots" are not the only thing out there anymore. Somebody in some thread compared that stuff to "fast food". I am really liking the fine dine experience. [Link]

The industry standard now is fauxcest, the stepdads, stepmoms, stepsisters, etc. Lesbian porn is also swinging back to the loud screaming fake orgasms and dildos from the bad old days. There are a few directors who occasionally do something else that works well enough in feature length videos. And there are many couples and individuals making their own porn for their own sites or clip sites, with more of the intimacy and passion that usually can't happen on a corporate set. [Link]
pat362 Senior Member 10083 Posts 3/10	Posted - May 1 2023 : 7:53PM ^^I can't speak for how old you are or how far back your porn surfing goes but you must have missed the 70's and 80's for you to be able to claim what you did about modern porn because if you want realistic porn then take a look at porn made in those decades. it will give you a better idea of what realistic porn looked like one upon a time. I do wish that they did more plot based porn but also weren't afraid to be funny about it because at times some of these scenarios are really ridiculous and if we could laugh at it, it would be better.
