Todays porn scenes could use some sultry saxophone or Freaky Fuck Funk basslines.
Or some Lords of acid style sex techno. Or a little sensual synthesizer.

Do you guys miss how some erotic music can enhance a sex scene?

The John Leslie movies of the late 80s had pretty good jazz scores. I think Leslie himself played on them, but I'm not sure. I know he performed though.

It would depend on what you would define as erotic. I get strangely turned by the classics (Mozart, Schubert etc.), but I doubt others would feel that way.

On a different, but not entirely unrelated note, Metal music in Gonzo scenes would be so awesome!!

There have been quite a few filmmakers/industry members who use music.

He appears to have, sadly, left the industry but the music was important to Paul Deeb's work and he composed it himself.

Missa X's movies use great music, I don't know the sourcing of the music.

Angie Rowntree uses great music, I believe they license from music libraries.

Small Hands composes music for adult movies and does a wonderful job.

Akiko Janos uses music as part of the experience of his movies.

For me music in porn is a lot like background players in a movie/scene. If I notice them then they have failed at their job because they should be in the background. If I notice the music because it's too loud, too distracting then it has failed at what it was supposed to be.

I loved the music by filmmakers such as Cecil Howard, Radley Metzker, Shaun Castello, Greg Dark, John Leslie, that they would use throughout their films.
