i caution that only maybe the 300 newest videos have 4k download options. maybe not even that many. i am not all that far into the back catalogue and 1080p is the highest available option for me and i am only just into 2023 videos.

Its not just Brazzers, but the parent company as a whole (MindGeek, I think) that completely fell off, because Reality Kings fell off big time as well. As did VideoBox, which I think is also under them.
I remember back in 2011 or 2012, I got ripped off for $900 by them when they were big into that live chat BS, and someone hacked my account and spent $900. I told them repeatedly I never used that service, and asked why they made it so easy for people to scam it. They werent going to refund me, but after I told them I contacted my bank and told them the reverse the charges, they refunded me and offered me a free month to the site. Sounded okay, but a few days later, my account was closed and they banned me from rejoining the site. When I contacted them, they told me there was nothing they could do. I told them that I could still easily get/watch their scenes, so it was up to them whether or not they were willing to let me pay.
In the 13 years since, I joined the site maybe 2 or 3 times, and was never impressed. Even back then, it felt like the scenes were going downhill. Felt like they were overproduced and werent even focused on what people were actually there for. However, its so much worse now.
Whats even worse is that both Brazzers and RK deleted hundreds, if not thousands of old, GREAT scenes. People say it was an issue with rights and stuff like that, and so be it, but there are many other sites that still have most of their old videos from a long time ago. Just shows the complete incompetence of that company that they allowed it to happen to the point where so many great scenes were completely lost.
I will never give MindGeek another time unless something changed in a major way. Their scenes are pretty awful now. Then again, the entire industry has taken a downturn IMO. There is still good stuff out there, but its just nothing like it used to be, sadly. Hey there, I recently joined the site and was expecting to be able to download 4k quality (as in higher bitrate, 4gb/5gb size etc). However, for some reason the downloads for the films are much smaller size and lower bitrate - for instance I know the most recent films are almost 5gb in size, but the 4k quality I download is only about 1gb in size. Has this happened to anyone else and how do I fix it? Cheers!

Ive never been a fan of Brazzers bc I dont like their style. I think though it has gotten even worst bc as I believe a popular director said on a podcast the big corporation that took over dont really know or care about the industry. did you download like 200 videos in your first few weeks of joining? if so they may have capped your account for a period of time. that is not right as from my understanding as a current subscriber i pay the extra fee and can in theory download as many videos as i want per day \month. however, when talking about file sizes as large as 4k which i do not personally download they may cap people to a certain number per week\month. again, it's not right but they can do technically whatever they want. :\
There used to be a day where I would enjoy viewing their films, these days I will just watch scenes of girls that I follow. I'm not sure what has happened, but this studio was number one in my list for a very long time.

Sometimes Brazzers video quality can be hit or miss, I also know that Brazzers has a AV1 video option, which is a new video encoding format that should give you the same video quality but with a smaller file size.
When you download, see if you have options for H264 and AV1, the H264 versions should give you the larger video files and in turn higher bitrate
I had a subscription for a few years until I cancelled some 6 or 7 years ago. I was getting tired or annoyed by some things, but at least they still had proper photosets going with the scenes at that point, whereas they have later been replaced by galleries of screenshots, I think. And now you need to pay extra in order to download? At least it would be fair to mention that. They do have some great babes, and I have occasionally considered subscribing again, but haven't.
Thanks for the response, it's ridiculous it's like this. The H264 version is exactly the same as the AV1 - bit rate is low (5500 to 6000). File sizes are approx 1.0 - 1.8 gb for the 4k versions (less than the 1080p versions found elsewhere online). Not sure what to do - their customer service is pretty much useless and I already spent a years subscription. I pay for the quality and to support the industry - if they are not providing the right service and are not willing to help, why should I support them.
I agree, their production quality is top notch which is why their ads are the most eye-catching and viral. People love to hate on Brazzers but then they literally jerk off to their 5-second ads lol 😂. I dont think a company that "fell off" would produce content that is so good that you only need to watch 5 seconds of it to nut.
