In addition Walter, as you well know American and frequently Euro movies and video box covers in particular are full of inaccurate and inventive cast listings but yet IAFD and EGAFD goes to great lengths and the people that post in both forums to set the record straight with regards to cast names and performers appearances under a variety of names and aliasis. I am sure that none of those companies that put out those titles have made no effort in helping either database with precious information they may possess as to who is who in any given movie. In addition I believe (last time I checked) the #1 and #3 of this series in IAFD show the performer names and their silly "Indian" names. To set an example only for #4 (no clue what the situation was for #2) in this series seems to be rather capricious. The decision is entirely yours, but if you wish to remain consistent and still "punish" Devil's Film in some way, either you show both performer names and their "indian" aliasis for all the titles or for none. I have no personal contact within Devil's Film, or how they work. Are they playing a joke on the public and "passing" off non-Indian performers as really Indian, or are they being purposely and fraudently deceptive and misleading? Take for instance Girlfriends Films when they release their series "Mother-Daughter Exchange Club", do you believe that the performers are really mother and daughter? Lethal Hardcore does something similar with another series supposedly involving mother and daughter set who has a sex scene with one male. Is it "fiction" that the producing company is making or are they being deceptive? What about another series in which the women are called "Mrs this" and "Mrs that" and in many instances we have no clue who the real performer is. First, the DBM alias is consistent across many if not most DBM releases, so adding this alias makes sense since it can lead to additional titles for Karen Lancaume. The same is true for the many releases by websites where only first names are used -- see the many submissions of Delaware in this very forum: a first single name can lead to various other aliases with a similar first name. The Indian names used by Devil's Film here are unique to this title. I am 100% sure that if they were to release another title with these performers, they would not be credited with these names. These names were specifically created to help sell this film, based on a very deliberate fraudulous concept. One could say that DBM, Mario Salieri and others are either stupid or have little common sense when they insist on using their own names instead of using names with a possible higher built-in audience awareness. This is not what Devil's Films is doing in this case, though. Second, the various names of DBM and others are hardly if ever used as an integral part of a shady selling scheme, as is the case with Devil's Film. Lauren Del Rio is just a name. It has no meaning within the context of the concept of the movies DBM is trying to sell. This can not be said of the Indian names used by Devil's Films.So, what else is new? You have found yet another case in which the IAFD and their various editors have added data in a different way. Do I like this or even agree with it? Of course not. In this case, I would have very much preferred a consistent approach to all titles. However, if you can tell me a way in which to 'enforce' data processing standards like this without upsetting or hurting the feelings of any IAFD editor -- which are all volunteers, not employees -- please let me know.Wow there. You don't see the difference between the Devil's Film example here and the various "Mother-Daughter" titles now on the market? Man, this is really a basic distinction between filmic and pro-filmic reality. Let me try to explain without the need to fall back on elaborate theoretical explanations. The thing with both titles I Wanna Butt Fuck an Indian and Mother-Daughter Exchange Club is that they are targeting a niche public by appealing to a certain fantasy. The difference is that the fantasy of the later is solely created within the realm of the filmic reality. Girlfriends Films has created set-ups in which fictional characters within the filmic reality are presented as mothers and daughters. They do NOT present the performers as being real mothers and daughters in any way. Here is a another clue: many performers appear in multiple movies in the series as either a mother or daughter. In all of those the performers are credited with the same name. There is no effort whatsoever to mislead the public in trying to convince us we are dealing with real mothers and daughters. Surely, they would have used different performer credits for different movies? This is not true anymore for the Devil's Films series. Here we don't have 'known' performers being credited as such portraying certain fictional characters (e.g. Indian girls), Devil's Films has chosen to actually credit the performers in such a way that their credits supports the fiction they are trying to sell. Compare to mainstream cinema. Do you believe that Ben Kingsley is really Mahatma Gandhi in the movie Gandhi? Of course not. And the producers of the movie haven't done anything to make you believe that Ben Kingsley is the real Gandhi. Likewise, Girlfriends Film has not tried to convince us to buy their movies because they are supposed to feature real mothers and daughters (with the exception of the Desi and Ellie Foxx titles). Devil's Film IS trying to convince us that the girls in I Wanna Fuck an Indian Girl are really Indian by deliberately crediting them as being Indian girls. Their deceit goes beyond the fantasy of the filmic reality and spills over in the pro-filmic reality. They are trying to sell us a pipe instead of a picture of a pipe. The series with "Mrs This" and "Mrs That" is probale the Screw My Wife, Please series by Wildlife. Look at the way they are listed in the IAFD. The Mrs aliases are really nothing more than character names, not performer's name. As it should be. Len, after so many struggles with you it surely mist be clear by now that 1) the way data is being collected and presented on the IAFD is highly inconsistent and 2) that they don't always (or even hardly at all) are consistent or compatible with your own personal standard of how you believe porn data should be collected and presented. That said, I am neither defending nor being apologetic for what Devil's Film is doing at least as it regards this particular series. I do not know how the company operates, but I cannot recall the last time I saw a director's name in either a video box cover or actual movie for that company. Very odd. My main preoccupation regardless of Devil's intention(s) was for IAFD to be as clear and complete as it can be with relation to the titles and information it lists in its database. Lots of porn performers have used funny names before, and let's be frank many Asian female performers also appear in "latina"-themed movies, where they clearly pass themselves off as latinas and many latinas have appeared in asian-thermed movies. The girls go along with it (for the pay) and we and the editors of IAFD databasse may smirk when they come across such titles and wonder why they do that, but that is porn. By the way it was I back in December 2009 that posted the information about the real performer names and their "indian" funny names for #3 of this series.
