but it defaults to 45 days. Can anyone help and explain this perplexing situation to me.

Mine's not working either (it's stuck on "last day"). Hasn't worked the last few days. I don't know how long it's been this way--I usually don't change it.

Looks like a bug. The value is stored in a cookie though.
I'll take a look at it tomorrow afternoon.
