i have been using iafd a lot lately, checking out some performers on my videos that are not listed, seeing who they are and what they have been in
however ive been finding it highly inaccurate, ie many of the titles i looked up it lists performers that are not in or leaves out ones who are
the main thing i like is how is shows who is in each scene, in order.. but here there are a lot of mistakes too.
has anyone else found this?

No, I've found them quite accurate largely due to a great number of people working to improve their accuracy. The only problems I've really found have been with titles such as some recent West Coast titles where there's scene descriptions on the back cover that aren't in the same order as the scenes in the movie.

when i go to the part that shows each scene in order, who the star of the scene was i find that to be out of order sometimes, or the wrong star altogether who isnt in the title.
im not saying its a massively inaccurate, just enough for me to notice since ive been using it this morning that several have had mistakes

Like Astroknight I've found them to be pretty accurate and I've been using their site for about twelve years.

The IAFD is like ADT, they depend upon others to give them data about the movies they list. The staff are aware that not all the submissions they receive are accurate, which is why they try to make it easy for you to submit a correction concerning any movie listing. In fact, there's a forum right here on ADT that you can use to do so. Of course, it helps if they know enough about you to trust that your corrections aren't just more bad data.
At any rate, I have to echo astroknight: considering that this is porn we're talking about, they are remarkably accurate.

The truth is that, the IAFD is both: "remarkably accurate" and "highly inaccurate."
It's an inconsistent luck-of-the-draw.
The loss of Don Violette and BigBobxxx over the past two years hasn't helped, either.

Always found it very accurate and an indispensable and much appreciated resource.
I was unaware of the forum here, and couple of times I have found a mistake I shot them an email and was fixed up right away.

I have experienced IAFD to be highly accurate. The only exception is some bio info. However, I am very impressed by the amonut of bio info IAFD has posted. IAFD is the best porn reference site I know.

I use the IAFD daily and find them an incredible resource. What they do, they do very well. They do not claim to be perfect, but they are constantly updating information and welcome input from anyone who thinks they can make their listing more accurate. Imagine the tens of thousands of movies that have been circulated over the decades and then think of trying to put together a cast, scene breakdowns and biographies with photos of each person.
I'm a big fan of classics from the 70s and the IAFD manages to list a lot of adult performers from this decade, with listings of films they have appeared. No one else comes close to the IAFD in providing a wealth of information, especially when it comes to the classics.
Of course they miss things, the most common error is where to find a title which is at the bottom of the listings, but that is because the same, exact title is being used in so many films, it may not be the correct film, but they fix it if you let them know.
I recently was trying to find the title where present day Asian American performer Kitty appeared with much older guy Don Hollywood but it is not listed on the IAFD. I have the scene on video but nothing more about it. So, they missed one there. They still do a great job.
Please point out their errors to them on their website. They usually make the corrections within a week after you submit the proper info.

With the volume of titles that they have calling them highly inaccurate seems unreasonable over a few mistakes. And much of your errors look like links to stores which could be caused by feeds from the store.

I've found iafd to be accurate. The one time I caught something that was incorrect, they had listed an Evelyn Lin IR scene as non IR, they corrected it within a couple of days, and thanked me for my input.
