Ice Woman

I enjoyed Ice Woman, the original film back in the day. Enjoyed the goofy nature of the script, the performances were great, and the Ice Woman was hot (though I hated that she kept her furry cavewoman shoes on!). It ended in such a way that a sequel seemed inevitable, and now I find out that, according to this site, an Ice Woman 2 was made with the same cast! If anybody has seen it, how does it compare to the first one? And was it made concurrently with the first, but held back to get more money from the fans? Or was it popular enough they brought back the cast to finish up the story?
The basic story (and it's been awhile since I've seen it,so forgive me if I get a fine point wrong) involved the prehistoric past where a wimpy cave dude spies a comely cave maiden and he follows her back to her cave, where she makes hot monkey love with a manly cave dude. After he leaves, the wimpy guy tries to go in and get some loving, but he tries to enter her "back door" which is a no-no, and then something happens that causes them to die. In any case, it cuts to the present day, where a reincarnation of the wimpy caveman happens upon the body of the original cavewoman preserved in a tiny iceflow. He wakes her up with his passions (while his wife Ashlyn Gere makes him a cuckold with every Tom, Dick & Harry because he loves his science and his ice woman, not her). It ends with Ice Woman, fully thawed by the wimpy professor's passion, wandering free in the world.
