This company booked me yesterday for a BG scene with James Dean. He asked my agent if I remember working for them before and I said no. So then 15 minutes before my call time, he called Skooby and told him they shot me before, about a year and a half ago, and had to cancel. So then I called him to get my kill fee. Guess what he gave me? $50.
FIFTY FUCKING DOLLARS? This, after I drove for 2 hours to get there. And I was there waiting. I had another scene at 7pm that night and couldnt just turn around and go back home at this time. He told me to be mad at my agent. Im like "uh, we both told you to check if I worked for you last night." he tells me that he, the owner of the company, couldnt access the database cause it was too late. Bullshit. How lame is that that the owner couldnt access his own database. UH HUH. yea.
So this cheapskate fuck gave me $50. I told him I'm not some mexican than crossed the border to work for minimum wage.
Lets piece together what the $50 did for me.
$35 went into my tank for the gas. Then $5 to Skooby for agent fee. hahahahahaha. That leaves me $10 to compensate for my 2 hour drive and everything. Thats like $5 an hour. Yea.
