I thought of a neat idea for pictures on the forum. How about an automatic resize function combined with a user controlled resize?
Let me explain. You might have a forum rule for maximum size (like you have now, it automatically resizes before saving when you upload an image that is too big (1024 wide). But in a thread, I would some times like to post a smaller version of an image. If you used one of those scripts that let you write a code for how big you want the image, you don't have to upload two versions of it. You can just specify it in the image tag (preferably via a field that appears when you click the img button.
You could also use a "thumb" tag for a small predefined size and make that automatic for quoting others, which would make things a LOT cleaner in picture heavy threads.
You can then view the full size by clicking the image if you want to see its original resolution
Any thoughts?

I think this is a good idea if Drew has any inclination (and/or time) to do it.
