have extreme rape sequences in their movies? I know that a lot of popular movies do have a lot of slapping, gagging, and gangbanging type fantasies in which the male is usally dominate and the woman is put into submission. Some even have guys urinating on women to show their control. But if there were no laws against it do you believe extreme rape sequences would be tolorated?
As a Max Hardcore fan I take offence to that! I'm not a sick bastard......well, maybe just a little *LOL*
Btw, it would be perfect legal here in Holland. Laws regarding pornography are a lot better here.

Do you mean rape or fake-rape (i.e.consenting adults enacting rape-scenes)?
If you mean the latter, I would hope in a free society this would be tolerated - however so-called <extreeme> it be.
If you are talking about rape, I do hope police would immediately raid those studios and severely punish everybody committing this crime. Rape is a crime that has to be severely punished!
Actually Porn Boy, scenes of forced sex, including but not limited to what you call "extreme" rape scenes, have always been made in the porno industry. There are many famous examples from the stag period, and a real proliferation of this kind of scene during the 1970's in both films and loops. In many of these scenes the female victim begins to "enjoy" herself after her clothes come off (well, it is "fantasy", right?), but not always. What put a stop to this type of sequence? Mostly, I suppose the sale and distribution of video tape, combined with the Supreme Court's ruling on Miller vs. California. It was just too easy to get busted by local authorities in the mail order business (which happened). So producers stopped making these type of sequences--along with a bunch of other stuff--and older films containing them slowly disappeared from the marketplace (or were edited). Also, with the larger and more gender-mixed audience of porn beginning in the 1980's (thanks to home video and cable), this type of scene became viewed as offensive in some quarters and was actually bad for business. It is important to remember that a lot of what you might call "extreme" in hardcore today, is really child's play compared to older stags, loops, and the cottage film biz of the 1960's and 1970's.
No, it will never happen in porn here EVER in the USA. It seems since GW bush became president we were allowed to watch less good stuff because it's "obscene" to them.
I'm pretty tolerant of things I don't like, but simulated rape filmed as a "porn" movie is going to far. It's the idea that they're made and sold to get people off. That's sickening. Rape is violence ok?? Violence has no place in porn unless there's a story to go with it and not in the actual sex act.
Over in japan simulated rape titles are everywhere. It's no big deal I guess over there. Even the most well know AV actresses are in them. It's just hard to understand. Yet almost all the people are "normal" to some degree and from my understanding actual rape in Japan isn't very common at all.
I know quite a few people online that like such titles yet the same ones say that SCAT and pissing is 1 hex worse and "sick and wrong". I don't agree with that. Sure, I know it's acting and all, but still. Maybe it's just me, but as a porn viewer it seems like simulated rape titles would be so much more harmful. I know it's "only" fantasy to some people, but not everyone. Surely some people would watch the rape stuff and get de-sensitized by it.
Rape movies are still legal here in the Netherlands ( in contrast to most european countries, e.g. Germany, Austria, UK etc. )
I must confess, I have mixed feelings on this "genre". On the one hand, as a woman I dont like movies that show rape as just another form of sex. Its a crime. On the other hand, it can be a play of fantasy. For ten years or so, all rape movies have to show a warning before the movie " dont try this in real life etc".
NL, DK and Japan, the three countries in which rape movies are still legal, have one of the lowest rape rates in the world. So maybe it has a positive effect. But, in UK, in Germany and even here in NL, the rate of very young men committing rape crimes is climbing. Because they arent able to cope with the pictures and cant differentiate between fantasy and realism. Most of them get the movies through illegal internet downloads, because they arent 18. I think its the society, that generates these problems, not porn at first hand. The societys that isolate discussions about sex and porn in the educational system, like USA and UK, have the biggest problems.

As long as things are consensual, I'm generally ok with them. Being "legally capable of giving informed consent" is somewhat ambiguous though, I can imagine a few gray areas. The right to see enacted rape scenes isn't a right I'm going to fight for.
Young men lacking communication skills turn very quickly to violence. They are violent to each other too. But society only seems to notice when the violence is against women.
I wonder if violence and violent crimes are up among young men too. And are they committing more aggressive crimes in other areas.
I don’t buy the TV, games, or Internet or anything else made me do it. If you’re that informed, then you were informed not to do it too.
I think rape scenes are purely fantasy and really aren't much of a problem. It doesn't make sense to ban those scenes and not the rest. It's no differnt then BDSM. It just focuses on the sex rather then the pain. I do however think Bestiality is disgusting and should never be allowed. I'm fairly tolerant but when someones going outside there species for sexual pleasure there's something wrong.
Rape is a common fantasy among men and women, you wouldn't be sick to enjoy that fantasy. Some anti-porn people would say most porn is rape anyways...
But I do think pornographers would push it farther, and that some girls would say yes to them for the wrong reasons, like some of Max Hardcore's girls not having a clue what they signed up for.
No, I dont have my data from TV, but from Interpol database. I am reasearching a little bit on this subject. Especially in the UK, they have many, many problems with sexual violence committed by teens to other teens.
I think the key is in the society itself. Japan has the worst and most brutal rape movies, but the lowest rape rate. But I think not because these movies are legal, but because of the structure of society.
Here in NL, most porn movies were never as women degrading as in Germany. We could watch porn movies at 16, in Denmark even at 15, and there were not as much problems with sexual harrasment, rape and sexual crimes as in e.g. Germany, that had stricter age limits (18) and almost no sex on TV. But we had an open discussion about all these themes, now we had a "conservative roll back" in 2003. Openeness turned to closeness, and the problems with young men are raising.
Its really not so easy, as the conservative want to believe us.
I think with no restraints the envelope would be pushed to an extreme that would eventually lead to a even more restricted market or more regulation.
Personally I think anything between consenting adults should be legal. Anything were a girl is pushed beyond her limits is taboo. example : If I see an anal scene were she seems to be in pain, or stricken with fear, its "timber" for me.
But also if she is into being submissive that's cool, I just want have the belief that's a choice she made of her own free will. ( I really like Jenna Haze because she has made comments in an interview that she likes being submissive )
While it is not part of this conversation I will add that, I would do anything possible to help L.E. bust the pedophiles or kiddie porners , even to applying the handcuffs myself.
I don’t see porn as the cause or the cure for problems of society. But caroline I think your right an honest open society helps with everything.
Conservatives think if no one mentions sex, teenagers will never find out about it. Which is not true, nature informs them about sex. Teenagers wake up one morning and finds nature has given them a new toy.
I think an honest open society that informs them of the responsibly that goes with their new toy will help.
We teach our kids everything from feeding themselves, how to wipe their butts to driving a car and balancing there check books, but we can’t talk about sex.
In the US they can watch movies with people killing people at 13. They can’t watch a movie where people are naked or the word fuck is spoken till they’re 17, and can’t watch porn till they’re 18.
You can give a kid a gun at any age, but you can’t give them a porn movie till they’re 18.
I think what porn does, it brings sex out in the open. It says other people are enjoying sex and there’s nothing wrong with me for enjoying sex. I think this is especially important for women.
there's a market for anything. so of course if it is allowed, somebody's gonna do it. if they want to block fake rape scenes because rape is illegal, that has to be the absolute most ridiculous reason, since in any given film and even tv show nowadays you can see drug use, murder, assault, extortion, and a host of other crimes. i've seen a couple of rape scenes in jav, whatever. a person who sees it will be no more likely to go out and commit rape than the guy who plays mortal kombat will go out and fight someone or the guy who plays gta will go on a killllllllll frennnnnnnnnnnzy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
