AVN may have dropped its interracial or ethnic labelling but I doubt that will set a precedent for racial wage parity across the US industry. I would welcome being proved wrong though by seeing it happen.

Blacked and Blackedraw changed their wording to be more politically friendly. Also there's been a large increase in new scenes for all studios including black female performers. Do you guys think the pay for an IR scene has dropped? And are studios just responding to BLM now while its? What are you thoughts? [Link] |

Is there a specific reason why you didn't say anything about those starting out but still work hard? Hailing the success of a the black women in porn who've done well for themselves but failing to acknowledge the struggles they encountered at the start sounds like a classic denial of racial reality. Misty Stone has been very successful in her time in but she has pointed out that she earned significantly less than white co-performers working to the same levels when she started out. If pay always comes with performance, why was Misty paid less for the same work asked of her? |
