Granted, they couldn't be more different. His vignette format works for me, I'm glad he renounced all attempts at following a script ("On Sunrise" being the only pleasant exception). He really came into his own this past year, and I know I can always depend on him for excellent framing, angles & rhythm. I've also developed a fondness for his cheap sets, like this sort of dungeon he used in "Taya's Tales" for Dru's scene, or the haystack in this same movie for Taya's 1st scene. I grew up with 80's gay porn and it sends me back to the era. What ? You mean it's the same director ? "The Dark Side of Briana" had Briana's hottest scene I've seen these past 2 years (with Talon, whose gorgeous body I confess is prominently displayed during the whole shebang) and there was no anal (I mean it's an ADT post, I just HAD to say the word). I've only had the chance to quickly skip thru "Savanna Samson Superstar" yet, because I simply can never be alone, but it looks like another scorcher. I hope he stays with Vivid for a long time.
