While obviously the site is no longer updated I would like the chance to download a bunch of their catalogue at the best available quality. The site currently offers $29.95 monthly billing. That's a lot to pay for a bunch of old content, but I'm happy to if the website is still on the up-an-up, and I can easily unsubscribe when I'm ready. Does anyone out there have any advice and/or experience subscribing to this site or other old ones? [Link] |

If yes, then don't join. 3-Do you care that you are paying 30$ for a site that has been dead for a long time when you can join two for the same price who are still updating on a regular basis? If yes, then don't join this site and instead join some much better ones. My rule of thumb is that if a site is dead than the join price should be 10$ or less because they owners certainly don't need your money to produce new content because they aren't doing anymore. The only exception would be if a site has just died because then you are showing the producers that although they are no longer producing new content. The stuff they did make was well worth paying for it. Of course this only applies for sites that have been dead for a year or less. In the case of the OP's choice of sites. I certainly would never join it but they appear to still be using CCBill as a credit card processor so he doesn't have to worry about being charged weird amounts on his CC because it's a reputable CC processing company. As with ALL porn websites, be sure to double-check that you have unchecked any and all pre-checked boxes before clicking "OK" or "submit," etc. And, I strongly recommend making a screencap(s) of every page -- especially those where you have entered information and/or made selections -- for your records, again before clicking "OK" or "submit," etc. Joining porn site without credit card? Looks like Videobox currently has a six-month membership available for $10/month (i.e. for $60 paid all-at-once). (Be careful of at least one pre-checked box I noticed, and be sure to uncheck it!) Also, you will find that a membership doesn't include "everything." There is premium content available for additional charges (e.g. typically from a particular studio), but I suggest you just join major studio sites that interest you directly, and don't waste your money accessing a fraction of their content via Videobox.
