Another movie with incest tones was VIRGINIA, which the late Shauna Grant. I remember the movie for a couple of reasons--first because it was one of the only two (double-feature) movies I ever saw at a XXX theater. The other is that I was amused to see it got savaged by the critics in more than one magazine. Came out in the early 80s. I forgot the plot, but the gist was something about the sexual awakening of Virginia (Shauna) at the hands of her father. The pisser (one of the reasons the critics hated it) is that the end it was a cheat--the father (Paul Thomas?) wasn't really her father after all. Lame-o.

The original TABOO was mother-son incest, as son (Mike Ranger) eyes hot mom (Kay Parker)--and hot mom is sexually frustrated. Decent movie--I liked the fact that they really did try to convey some of the conflict as mom crossed the line, instead of just being a Penthouse letter. Plus a pretty good orgy scene. I'll have to dig that movie out and see if the video still plays... I never saw the other TABOOs so I don't know what they were about.

I only saw the movie once (with Memphis Cathouse Blues), but I remember it for some reason. I recall some scene hazily--a very pretty girl (redhead?) in a gazebo or something outdoors. If I ever get a porn rental service, I'll have to rent it and see it again.
