Problem is, I hate porn shops and buying off the Internet and having porn mailed to me has not worked out well.The quality and content of most DVD's blows away the Internet stuff. I would love to own more DVD's and would be happy to buy them. There are old titles I wish I had and too many new ones to check out.Not to mention storing these things suck. So here is my question: When is there going to be an Internet distribution method for DVD's? Meaning when can I BUY and download a full quality copy of these great DVD's. I think this really needs to happen to this industry. Some companies sell the DVD content on website like Evil Angel, but they are low quality Quicktime movies. Like I said money is not the problem. I don't want to browse porn shops or wait for the mail man to deliver my porn at the wrong time. This would also work out for storing these on my Media Center PC. I hope I've made my point clear. I think anybody who has used iTunes to categorize their 500+ CD music libraries would definitely appreciate a similar organizer for their 50+ gig MPEG collections. While we're at it, how about format standards? Customer convenience, please? Anybody else find the preponderance of movie formats a bit frustrating, given ever-changing compatibilities? Some are better than others in regards to the variety and quantity of the videos. But overall I have been very impressed with the quality of my latest downloads. They have been excellent. I'll download them to my computer and burn my favorite scenes to DVD. Very rarely have I found a DVD where I enjoyed every single scene. I can be very picky. So burning them myself ensures that I get exactly what I want. VideoBox.com is one of the sites I belong to, and they offer unlimited downloads of over 400 DVD's for $9.95 per month. The downloadable files are in the wmv format. I still buy DVD's occasionally via online (the local video stores around here sells them for roughly 4 times the online price) but they have to have impeccable reviews. I think if done right (which I have no answer for ) it will work.
