We will be using the same registration process that has worked well in the last few years. Info on how to register will be on the site in a few days. As usual, voting will take place tournament style for the following categories; Best Female Performer, Best Male Performer, Best Newbie, Best Director, Best Company and of course…Most Wanted Celebrity. There are a few changes I will be throwing in to shorten the voting process this year. I think that a six week tournament is just a little long. In the past we have started with fields of 64 and worked down to 32, 16, 8, 4 and a final 2. That is six weeks and people seem to get tired of voting for the same people that many times. The change will come at the back end. Instead of a final four then a final two I am simply going to switch to a final four with the winner coming from that bracket. It will cut down the last two weeks of voting and hopefully will give us an interesting finish. On the other end I am considering cutting the initial crop of 64 down to 32. This will cut a week off of the voting and hopefully make it more of an “honor” to be nominated. (Picking the best 64 newbies or the top 64 directors can leave some rather ridiculous brackets.) We could go from 32 to 16 to 8 and finish with a final four. That cuts us down to a four week voting period which is what I was shooting for. It does mean that a lot of great performers will be left off of the list so I’m throwing it out there to you for input. On suggestion to help with the “what about so and so” problem is to split up the Best Female and Best Newbie so that someone can only be nominated for one or the other. I’m not sure if I want to limit it that way though. Teagan finished second in both races last year, but perhaps making “newbies” ineligible for Best Performer can still give us two strong fields. As always, I invite other ideas on this process. It’s difficult every year, but worth it in the end. The winners are always very appreciative. (Except for Taylor Rain who still has no idea why I gave her a Lucite trophy at Erotica LA and that ingrate Jules Jordan….just kidding.) I think they like knowing that it really is a fan-driven award and that makes it all worth while. Thank you for input on this….

This will allow almost everybody to be satisfied that their girl(s) were considered. Everybody likes a "top 100" anyway :) (2) Run the elimination rounds in two flights as follows: 50 > 10 > 5 (3) Combine the 5 finalists from both flights into a final group of 10. This will also create and be known as "Rog's Fan's Top 10" (or something similar). 5 + 5 = 10 (4) The winner will voted on and selected from the "Rog's Fan's Top 10" list. 10 (5+5) > 1 * Includes more girls [Link] |

An original field of 20, also voted in two flights, would probably be appropriate: 10 > 5 > 2 IMHO, you really can't sustain an opening field larger than 20 with these categories. [Link] |

I think that a LOT of deserving girls would be left out if the initial list was cut down to 32. If you need to cut down the voting weeks, maybe go down from 64 to 16 in one swoop. [Link] |

I think if the only option to vote for Teagan was Newbie she would have won. Also I think all categories except Best Female can start with 16. I think 16 would be good for legit Newbie, Male, Director, & Company candidates. I Agree with Tricia that 64 seems appropriate for Best Female. This year the voting will take place in four one-week rounds starting on November 21 and ending on December 18. As usual, each round will begin every Monday with a fresh set of choices and voting will continue through the following Sunday night. Winners will move on from week to week until the winners are crowned. The brackets will done a little differently this year. Fields for the Best Male, Best Newbie, Best Director and Best Company will begin with 60 names this year. The Best Female field will be expanded to 100. Week two will feature fields of 20 in all categories. We will cut down to a top ten in week three. This gives us a nice Top Ten for the year. From that group of ten, we will have a final four during the fourth week of voting. Rather than a one on one finals, this year we will be running a final four to crown the winner. Hopefully everyone will enjoy the changes and we will have another successful year. Registration for this year’s RRFF voting will be open soon. Stay tuned for details.
