While it's certainly too early to say whether this is the title of the year, I will guarantee that it's a lock for Best Interactive Title of the year... no, ever.

InTERActive goes above and beyond every interactive and POV title that's come before it. The "Choose Your Own Adventure" story was extremely well-done, especially during the kinky segments. If you aren't already a devout worshipper at the altar of Hillary Scott, her scene in this movie will make you a true believer. Bonus points for having her wear glasses for 95% of the scene.

tritone: Regarding POV, it's half-and-half. During the story segments, the perspective shifts between first-person POV and general cinematic angles. This works very well, and helps to keep things moving. All of the sex scenes are shot in POV, so no worries there. Of course, there's also multiple angles during the sex scenes, if you want. The POV is flawless, in my opinion. Anybody who's seen Strange Days has an idea of how cool the "eyeball cam" works when the performer doesn't have to pull double duty as cameraman.

I've grown disenchanted with Tera Patrick over the years. With this one title, Tera's instantly rocketed back to the top of my "Dream Fuck" list. If nothing else, this title serves as a tribute to her amazing body. Her dialogue delivery is a little flat at times in this disc, but I can't imagine anybody caring once they spend a minute with this title.

Thanks for the compliments regarding the movie.

Most interactives let you switch between a good girl/bad girl mode, slow/fast ect. The original concept for inTERActive was for two completely different disks containing a good Tera and a bad Tera.

About half of inTERActive was shot in 2004. The current disk is essentially the "Good Tera". (but as you can tell she gets naughtier the further you get into the movie)

The plan was for a part two where Tera goes on the run from her husband and takes on a real "bad girl" demeanor.

I haven't seen the Jenna Haze interactive but it sounds pretty damn good. I always thought Jenna was the perfect candidate for an interactive movie.

What was interactive?

It was a movie that had places where it stopped and asked you a question. Do you want to see Tera in a red bikini -or- a blue bikini? Just that type of stuff.

I did think the movie was good, the extras was good, but the 'interactive' was fair.

What am I missing?

I'm not really sure what you mean when you say it's not interactive, at least in comparison to other adult interactive titles.

Not all the questions that come up are yes/no. Some have multiple choices. Often they lead to the "interactive" segments.

For example, in the bedroom there is a toy segment where you can choose a vibrator for Tera to play with, a dildo, you can finger her and you can also eat her pussy. During the dildo you can chouse if Tera uses it on herself or if you want to use it on her. The vibrator also contains a missionary and a doggy style position.

All of these options are available on the fly and in each one you can click a button to make her cum. All of the sex segments have multiple video angles as well.

There is a double blowjob scene with Jessica Jaymes and you can choose which girl sucks you off or if you want them both to suck your cock. You can switch on the fly and cum on them at the touch of a button.

During the sex you can switch positions on the fly and make Tera cum or shoot your load by clicking a button. All of the interactive segments contain this kind of control, in addition to multiple angles.

I know in your review you stated frustration not being able to fast forward on disc one. This is a limitation of the DVD spec. If we enabled FF the menu highlight could disappear and you wouldn't know what button was active.

It wouldn't come back until you went to a new segment, which would be really confusing. That is what the "SKIP AHEAD" button is for, it helps you get through a segment if you want to move on.

I suppose it's time for me to offer a little constructive criticism. First and foremost, there should've been an option to view the credits from the main menu. I don't think this is even possible with the easter egg chapter menu -- although that does let you get pretty damn close to the ending. Not only do the closing credits feature some swanky cool music, they also identify who played "Neighbor" in each scene. Big kudos to whoever thought that up.

I would have liked to have seen more pop shots. With the exception of the finale with Tera, each sex scene had only one pop shot, regardless of what position you were in leading up to it. This, in my opinion, is the one major area where this title falters in comparison to Zero Tolerance's Interactive Sex... series.

Finally, this title really should've been presented in anamorphic widescreen. Sure, as it is, InTERActive is one of the best porn titles I've ever watched in regards to picture quality. The colors are vibrant and don't bleed, and there is absolutely no detectable noise during the indoor scenes. That said, anamorphic widescreen would've made everything look that much better. For a title that's cutting edge in every other aspect, sticking to 4:3 full screen seems downright outmoded.

That pretty much sums up everything I found "wrong" with this title. In other words, given how much was done right and exceptionally well, it's safe to say that I loved InTERActive. Outstanding job, Quinn.

I actually never even thought about putting a chapter jump to the credits. Most people probably never get to the credits in a porn movie. Like you said though, from the Secret Chapter menu you're only a few "Skip Aheads" away.

On the cumshots, Tera takes five real ones in the movie and Hillary has one as well. Remember, most of the movie was shot in 2004 when other interactives were using fakes.

Also, at that time Tera was only performing with Spyder Jonez, it wasn't possible to bring in extra guys just for the cumshots.

If there is a part two I agree it should be anamorphic. Shooting in that format wasn't as prevalent when the movie started filming.

I was messing around with Disc 1 again a little while ago. This time around, I decided to keep refusing Hillary/Britney's request for a "hard banana". I laughed my ass off at the end result. Don't worry, I won't spoil it for anybody who hasn't tried this yet.

The credits were produced this year, at the end of editing.

Originally Jessica Sweet was going to play the "Britney" character. The scenes at the end of the movie were shot in 2004.

I later decided to use Hillary Scott in the "Britney" role. Both of them have played the Britney Rears character.

I'm friends with the producers of Britney Rears so they let me use the name.
