I haven't posted in awhile so i figured i'd throw a bunch of them out at you all...
1) With the latest popularity of all the interactive DVD's does anyone know who's slated to be be in the next round of them?
2) It seems like the new Virtual Sex w/ Tara Patrick is very popular. What makes this one the best of the bunch? with the real cum shots in this one, does it include a facial as well?
3) Are there any improvements that could make these types of DVDs better? with more of a repeat factor??
4) I have yet to watch one of these DVDs...is it really worth the price or would everyone suggest that i rent one first?
5) For those of you with gf's, wives, etc...what do they think of these DVDs? Do they watch them with you, or do most of you consider these 'solo' only? My gf and i watch adult dvds occasionally and i just don't see her dealing with these well or understanding why i'd be interested in them.

I can at least give you the female perspective. I check out the interactive discs simply out of interest in what DVD can do. Sexually, these discs do nothing for me. The more I watch porn the more I want character development and a plot.
I'd say the most important part of choosing which DVD to get is the girl. One of the best parts of Vivid's Virtual Vixens is Inari - she has a great personality and shares it with the viewer.
The Vivid and Digital Sin discs are not as expensive as the Digital Playground ones if you want to save some money with a trial. But renting is always a good way to go with something that people seem to love or hate.

1) Don't know who is planned next but we will ask the studios. (Dyanna Lauren has one planned featuring Devon as part of her Dyanna Presents series for Vivid.)
2) The VSW Tera title is certainly popular. I haven't seen it yet so I can't tell you why. You can read a few customer comments on it at [url=467588] Adult DVD Empire </A. Just click the comments link in the top left corner of the page. Very interesting reading about the source of some of the cumshots.
3) I'm not a big fan of the virtual sex DVD genre. I would really like to see a 'you choose the direction version' where a person can select a sequence of scenes/positions and then watch the whole thing through without touching the remote.
4) I suggest renting any of the virtual sex simulators first. Many people are disappointed to learn that these DVDs are not movies. They are pure spanking material and nothing more.
5) I think that these titles are generally solo only but I have watched a couple of them with my GF since I have access to tons of porn through ADT. It's not much of a couples experience.

Drew, #5 on your list makes a lot of sense. If you're going to be fiddling with something, why choose the remote over your GF?

I just got the Virtual Sex with Tera Patrick DVD. This was my first exposure to these, and I was surprised by a few things.
i) I had somehow expected smoother transitions between the different parts. Also, I had imagined it would have more "tease" material. (More than the one short strip tease.) Also, because the anonymous cock is supposed to be the viewer's surrogate, they take pains to show as little of him as possible. The side effect is that there is a minimum of contact between Tera and him. Not ver erotic, methinks.
ii) There seems to be only one real cumshot (the oral one). This is actually pretty good, as Tera goes on licking and sucking him afterwards for a good while. The other ones look totally fake, and in one of them the tube providing the fake cum is actually clearly visible. What kind of sloppiness is this?
iii) Doesn't anyone find it silly that in the oral part of the foreplay section Tera is actually just stroking her own pussy and pretending that the guy gives her head. Of course, to actually do it would spoil the stroker's fantasy and obscure the view.
Is this all there is to the interactive DVD's I have read such glowing reviews about? Not that it is _bad_, there are nice closeups, but the positions are very limited, and the camera angles static (although having two of them at all times is a compensation).
