I think it's been since May 2010 that we've seen a substantial Interactive/Virtual Sex release. (My Plaything: Lexi Belle I think was the last one I can remember) Is this genre on the way out?

Perhaps with the advent of POV type movies, the above genre could be disappearing. However, having said that, I do have several interactive movies where you, the viewer, can "ask" the performer to perform a sex act through an on-screen menu. They were quite interesting.

I personally enjoy the interactive sex genre, especially Zero Tolerance's Interactive Sex series. The Jenna Haze one is great. I did hear somewhere that another installment is in the works featuring Kagney Linn, but at this point, I dont' know how real that is.

^ You're right! After I wrote my response, I realized that I forgotten the ZT series, as I do have 2 of them. I meant to come back to correct my response but totally forgot!

I don't think the genre is on its way out, but I think Zero Tolerance showed everyone that taking more time and making a more thorough product works better for sales that the quick and dirty (pardon the pun) Virtual Sex series.
My Plaything tried to catch up with the Interactive Sex with DVDs but ZT still has the edge. The ones with Bree Olsen and Jenna Haze are in heavy rotation on my DVD player. The Tori Black one is good too, but would likely have worked better on Blu-Ray (which I don't have a player for).
Would have really liked to see some other ladies get the ZT treatment though. Eva Angelina, Jada Fire and Marie Luv would have been incredible.

In my opinion, the last two were the best pov discs ever made. I have a post in Quasar's star-crosserd thread where I beg for a redhead (to balance out the blonde and brunette from the last two).
Faye Reagan, Riley Shy, or Sunny Lane. An asian one with Evelyn Lin, or someone like her who hasn't been done justice in POV would also be a must buy.
