| ninja1 Senior Member 2939 Posts 1/08 | There are 2 ways of doing it: Audio CD or Data CD. Audio CD is the standard CD format and can play in ALL standalone CD players (in addition to most DVD players and computers), but is limited to maximum 74 minutes playing time. Data CD is burning mp3's directly to the disc; it can hold 700 MB of data, which doesn't directly translate to minutes, because of variables regarding the particular mp3 files involved. It's very easily more than 5 hours playing time. However, some CD and DVD players are unable to play mp3's from a data CD. |
