I never saw Tougher Than Leather. What was it about?
I remember RUN-DMC... I remember working my ass off in school so that my parents would reward me with a cassette of my choice. I bought their album (I can't remember the title right now) as my one choice. I also remember that we picked it out in a record store that got busted for dealing drugs in the back room. Anyway...."Tougher
Than Leather" came
out in 1988.
It was a story about
a close friend of
RUN-DMC who had been
killed after witnessing
a murder.
Its not true story....
its just a dramatazation
on how RUN-DMC feel
about crime and such.
The Beastie Boys make
an appearance as well.
It was cool to see Lois

for Tougher Than Leather at
one time that was available for
purchase....but I do beleive
it is now out of print and
will never be again available
to the general public.
This script had all the deleted
scenes that were taken out.
Check out "Krush Groove".
That's RUN-DMC's first movie.
Its fresh.
And be sure not to blink
during the club scufffle that's
betweeen Run and Blair Underwood....
who plays Run's brother Russell
in this movie....because you
might not notice Gary Miller....
a.k.a. Dr.Know of the Bad Brains....
standing in the background as a
movie extra.
Freshness.
Oh....and "The Fantastic Four"???
That movie was never officially
released.
It was going to hit the theaters
a few years back....but it was
slated instead for a direct to
video release.
Several video stores had promotional
copies for store viewing sent
to them....but the producers had
the decided to can the whole
project and had all of the promos
returned.
Well....not all of them.
Some people had dubbed copies of
the movie and have been illegaly
selling them at comic book conventions
and such.
Someone even transfered the video
to film reels and had it playing
in film houses throughout Europe.
That's still illegal mind you....
but someone did it anyway.
The Fantastic Four movie sucked.
It was totally wack.
The Human Torch did not "flame on"
until the end of the movie.
He just made his arms catch fire
and shot falmes from them.
Mr.Fantastic only stretched his
arms and legs....not his whole
body.
I could go on to talk about The
Thing and The Invisible Woman....
but I'm sure you've gotten the

Which web browser are you using? Your posts have only a few words per line which causes them to appear to ne much longer than they actually are.
