Dani Darko Interview, Part 1.





RY: You were one of eight contestants to be on the ground breaking program "The Sex Factor." It still has not aired and it's been a long time since it's been shot, but what was it like? Was it more scripted or spontaneous? Did it feel like it was something big or just unorganized? Did you win the "$1 million? (Or can't you say, lol)

DD:. The Sex Factor show was all over the place. The film crew and director seemed to have never done something like this before. Instead of a reality show, showing pornstars behind the scene, they just wanted to film a giant orgy. A season long porn scene I guess. We were so unorganized. Most interviews were...basically scripted. During our interviews, if they didn't like what we'd say, they'd tell us to do it over, or just tell us what to say. It was disappointing. Especially disappointing for me because I would email back and forth with the executive producer all throughout the non- filming days and tell him many many ideas that I thought would make the show so much better. If the show ever comes out, it will definitely be all over the place. I'll be surprised if they're even able to show the public how they got from point A to point B in anything that happened during the show.

RY: What have you been doing since TSF? Did it help or hurt your career?

DD:. I've been doing the same thing I've always been doing since going on TSF, just gettin my hustle on. TSF didn't help me out in the porn industry whatsoever. I did meet a few companies that shot porn, and still wasn't offered anything better than a newbie just because I have never shot outside of TSF. So just for my sake, I'm hoping the show airs just so I can get some actual screen time. If it doesn't, TSF would have done absolutely nothing for me. I didn't learn a damn thing from being on the show, except to not drink in a hot tub. It's a silent killer man.

RY: You've been critical in the past of the agency handling the talent on the show. Do you have a new agent now? Are they helping you get work? Are you seeking work, or are you mostly doing private videos?

DD: I am still agent-less and I'm going to keep it that way. I want any offer that comes my way to be completely handled by me. I'm not looking for work in the porn industry right now because everyone running the (shit) show seem to be hella greedy and don't want to give back most of the profits to the models doing the damn thing. I still am doing private videos and taking private pictures, so if anyone's interested, they can hit me up on Twitter ;)

RY: You are in the teaser for the show and they are calling it Season 1. Do you know anything about a Season 2? Have they asked you to do any promotion for the show?

DD: I do not know anything about a season 2. I haven't really cared to ask about anything besides what I have been involved with. I keep getting the same answer as everyone well though...."season 1 coming soon!" I was promoting the show through a link on my Twitter bio, but I have since taken it down after having a talk with a friend who asked "why tf are you promoting a show that did nothing for you??????"

RY: So, how did you get in this business to begin with?




DD: How'd I get into this business? I was scrolling through my TL on Twitter and saw a tweet that Asa Akira posted. It said something like "hey! Do you want to be a pornstar? Do you want to fuck me? Click the link below." I did. It took me to TSF link, so I applied. Not even 2 minutes later (I’m being so fucking serious) I had a text and an email asking if I wanted to skype with the producer of the show. So I agreed and met everyone in Vegas a couple weeks later at the AVN expo.

RY: So, at least ONE good thing came out of TSF! Had you ever modeled before?

DD: I have never modeled before. I did get to do a photo shoot during the show. But, again, nothing came out of it since the other contestants and myself never received copies of the photos.

RY: I think many of those following TSF would totally agree with you. This was to be a reality show that revealedl what happens behind the scene. What were some of your ideas, and when can we expect to see YOU direct the show we're all interested in seeing?

DD: I mostly told the producer about ways to get into mine and the other contestants heads. I told him each of us should do a video diary-type of thing every morning and night to see how our feelings and thoughts changed throughout the day. Since the show didn't have a big budget, we had like 1 camera to work with and a couple GoPros so I told the producer we should take the GoPros around and film the real conversations we had. Instead the director wanted us to only grab a GoPro or a cameraman if someone was fucking. Like I said, they really wanted a non stop porno that goes on for 10 episodes. Not anything real. I also gave him different ideas of challenges we could do to help us actually grow as pornstars, but as far as I know, my ideas weren't used. If the show ever airs, and people actually fan-girl over me, I'll probably have to make my own type of TV show to show TSF production team how it's done ;)





RY: I would definitely watch YOUR show. I really believe it's what most fans want. You can find non-stop porno's everywhere. Reality is what's missing.

DD: Yes.

RY: Tell us about your surroundings during the taping of the show. Elegant? Shabby? Did everyone have their own room? How many days were you there and what was a typical day like?

DD: We stayed in alright houses. I think the houses we stayed in at least had 5 bedrooms. Half of us had to sleep on beds on the floor, or sleep on a couch. When we stayed at the house in Vegas, it was too cold to use their pool and when we stayed at the house in LA, the pool still hadn't been cleaned so we were pool-less again. (Cry face) In Vegas, I only stayed at the house for a couple nights because I had my own house and puppy to go back too. Plus I didn't really care for most of the contestants there and didn't want to be around them. We filmed for 3 days in Vegas. All days started early and ended late. Filming for material probably would've gone by faster if we had a camera back at the house or if we had more than one camera on set.

RY: We're getting the picture that this was pretty unorganized from many different views. According to the initial blurbs, you were all supposed to be "adult video virgins." Did you find that to be true?

DD: Every one of us, besides one person, were actually "adult video virgins". A few of the girls have cammed before, but never had sex on camera for money.
RY: Wow! And that includes the guys?

DD: Yes sir.

RY: That sounds very interesting! So, what was your first "scene"? Were you nervous? Who picked out your partner?

DD: My first scene was my "audition scene". The producer picked out my partner. I was not nervous to film the actual scene because sex is very natural for me. I was just nervous for any BTS interviews I had to do.

RY: What kind of audition was it? POV? What happened?

DD: I think the point of the "audition scene" was to see if we contestants could perform on camera and in front of people. We were paired with other contestants. My audition scene was someone else's audition scene as well.

RY: Could you describe what happened?





DD: When I went in for my audition scene, my partner could only keep an erection for, what seemed like, a minute at a time. So we ended up having to fake our orgasms. I think they were able to capture at least a few seconds of actual penetration. I was not into having his limp dick around me at all though. My partner had to go into the bathroom multiple times to try and get himself hard by watching porn. (Even though a real life porn scene was in front of him). I wish the camera crew would've gotten those BTS moments when the crew and I were sitting for 10-15 minutes waiting for this dude to get out of the bathroom, but instead they were just looking to film a sex scene ...nothing real.

RY: Yikes! That is so far from the hype. Were you able to hook-up with anyone outside of the show and camera's?

DD: I did try to have some fun away from the cameras, but most of the boys on the show were disrespectful and started bringing GoPros around, without asking, once they saw what was happening. I told the producer afterwards not to show any of that footage because I did not give my permission for the filming that occurred.

RY: Makes sense. Did you notice anything else happening during the shooting you'd like to share?

DD: Personally, I felt very creped out while being on set. I felt like most of the dudes were pervy. I really only felt comfortable around a couple of the dudes that were casted on the show. I felt like the judges were biased towards some of the contestants and the competition was not fair at all. There were some challenges all of us contestants could tell who should win, but the judges would pick someone that didn't make any sense. The producers/director would try to set us up to get the ending result they wanted as well. It wasn't an honest show at all. Their excuse was "it's a reality show, this is what happens", but nah, I think they're the ones that missed the point of a reality show.
