Saw this posted on another board and thought I'd pass it along.
I've seen more of her work as Colleen Brennan than Sharon Kelly, and Lord, was she beautiful, and she could really deliver in her movies, both as an actress and a sex performer. She even got (Faux-)Hypnotized in the fifth Taboo movie--she played a repressed mother with an unrepressed alternate personality. (Not much to speak of--Jamie Gillis as a psychiatrist counts backward from 100, and her eyes close somewhere along the way.)
Anyway, it's a nifty interview, and I'm glad to hear she's still around. There it is for anyone who's interested.

Thanks for the link -- wow, what a marvelously articulate, entertaining lady in her interview! Still another reason to love her.
And just to get them on the record here, let me quote my two favorite lines from the interview:
"Not even Jerry Maren, a very nice man and one of the last surviving OZ munchkins I met on some dreadful little-people-as-gansters movie. We went out once, but I was young and couldn’t handle even the idea of anybody going up on me."
"I sincerely believe that Russ Meyer likes breasts but not their complex life support systems."
And since it pertains to one of my biggest peeves in porn, may I also highlight this:
"Before the first shot Buckalew leaned in and quietly taught me everything he wanted me to know about movie-making. He pointed and said, 'That's the microphone, and that's the camera. Don't look into the camera.' I never did."

Those were certainly the days, weren't they? When brainy, independent-minded vixens roamed the porn world.

Thanks for the interview. SHE is what's missing from porn today. No one can hold a candle to her.

That was an excellent read on Colleen Brennan.
I believe where she said she danced at the Cat on The Sunset Strip I believe that is now the Rainbow.I love what she had to say about John Leslie (R.I.P.).
I love how writing a book was brought into the conversation and how she goes on to say if Jerry Butler can write a book anyone could and she can't even fathom if he can even read a book,I guess because he always so hyper. The only thing I own with Colleen in it is Cecil Howard's Star Angel which I purchased when it came out back in 1986 and Jerry Butler was in the lead role and the two of them were great together.

Perhaps Sharon thinks that Jerry was all cock and no brains.
