Everyone wants them in all of their lines because they know it will bring in the cash. Can you blame them? I wish agents were a little more savvy about this, but they get greedy too, leaving it up to the actresses themselves to limit how many scenes they do per week or per month. Bree Olson is one of the few stars that was very careful about not overdoing it early on, and now she's one of the "it" girls. Personally, I've come to accept that I burn out on stars if I see too many scenes. No matter how attractive I find a girl, or how much she turns me on, there are only so many ways to suck and fuck! lol. I love Alexis, but I agree she's overdoing it. I hope she saves all her money, and maybe even invests it, because a star's shelf life is limited to a couple years unless they re-invent themselves by adding anal for example. [Link] |

In a word, yes, barring some thematic changes to her repertoire and new additions to her resume, I am burning out on Alexis Texas. (Although I don't think the Naomi comparison quite fits.) No one has been more down with Alexis than I have. I own 26 scene of hers, (all that I could find, with the exception of a couple of POV ones that I didn't like), but they are all looking pretty much the same. And while her visual appeal remains high, her sexual freak factor doesn't really seem to have caught up. Her porn polish and professionalism have increased a lot, which is understandable given all the work she's shot in the past eight months, but the scenes just don't seem that hot to me. Her humor and personality are coming through a little more in the scenes, I think the one she shot with Rodney Moore for "We Swallow 17" was great as far as her acting goes, but until she starts to spice things up and adds more variety and sexuality to her offerings, I think I'm on Alexis moratorium. Sounds odd, but it really is what kills off interest. When I saw my first Bree Olson, it was the wonderfully shot Everhard scene from New Sensations where she's shown from the front while on top. I thought, damn, that's a totally hot scene. (NS seems to agree, since they chose to lead off with that scene in their recent 9-scene Bree compilation.) But then as I ran out to get more and more Bree, I started seeing the same puzzle pieces used by her over and over in different performances. I was confronted with the evidence of how it's a performance piece every time, and I started losing interest about that time. By contrast, if I only gradually accumulate someone's scenes, then the honeymoon period lasts longer and I'm able to maintain the illusion longer that they were actually "into it" during the sex, or that there's more "realness" to it as far as I'm concerned. Or whatever. But interest level remains higher. I guess that's the whole idea behind taking contract girls and hiding them away from the world, huh? Too bad all these theme movies usually serve up the same kind of performances again aside from the couple minutes they devote to their chosen fetish, instead of succeeding in showing us a different aspect of the performer's sexuality that we haven't seen before.... The key to preventing burnout is to keep adding wax. Burn differently. Change orgasm noises from month to month. Throw out old verbiage and come up with a fresher potty mouth. Mix it up, you know. Sativa changes hair color a lot, and that seems to add a freshness factor for her. Interracial watchers probably have no idea who she is. The big breast crowd probably never heard of her and has no interest. She probably isn't doing features either so that's aother nich/audience she's missing out on. She's even limited with the big butt thing if she doesn't do anal.
