^ ^ I think things like Photoshop has killed off airbrushing. Seeing this reminded me of a story. Years ago I knew this guy who did the catalog shots for his company. It was industrial stuff so the company allowed him to have a studio on the premises. He was able to use the studio on off-hours for his own hobby. Naturally he used it to photograph girls that were interested in modeling. Me and a few friends had known him for some time and he'd allow us to use the studio too. One day he mentions he shot some nudes of some gal about a year before she got into Playboy. The funny thing was he didn't recognize the girl at first although the name in the magazine was almost the same (slightly different). He showed us the magazine and showed us his unretouched photos. Playboy had airbrushed out moles, the cleft on the tip of her nose, some minor stretch marks. The effect was she did look different enough that if you saw their pictures and his pictures side by side it'd eventually dawn on you it was the same girl but with her "flaws" removed or reduced.
WOW - the original post is so inline with my thinking it's scary. I don't mind a small tattoo or 2, but these girls and guys are ruining their bodies with such extensive body art (IMO, of course). Turns me off. I like nothing more than a girl with pristine untouched by ink skin.

I'm not a tattoo fanatic, but a single tattoo can be quite sexy, however I wholeheartedly agree that the industry has lost it's mind. Bonnie Rotten, Dollie Darko, Joanna Angel, Alexia Vosse, Juelz Ventura and Lolly Ink are all model material in my book, however, I find it hard to focus on their beauty being distracted by all the ink. I honestly wonder how many females ink up because they don't see their beauty or tried too hard to be alt. Bottom line, it's a personal choice, but God bless them. Tattoos are forever and not only does everyone not get the significance of a tattoo, but they may not agree with or appreciate the message behind them. Either way, as you age, you start to stand out as an oddity with all that ink. That said if I had my way, every woman alive would have the fakest tits available and some people find that offensive.
Almost every girl has a tattoo or a couple tattoos. I think it is preference but in porn it doesn't take away from a performance especially if the girl has a beautiful body and face. I would like to believe I have been an exception to most people as I have been told this a million times, not to mention winning awards no other tattooed girls have. I am not an alt girl, i am a pretty girl with tattoos. I understand if you don't like tattoos it doesn't hurt my feelings but some of the rude things said about tattooed girls are unnecessary.

Senorita Bonnita, that level of tattoos would normally be considered Alt, or Biker Chick. However, I agree with you on your beauty and actually find you most sexy when you wear bright colors or stilettos and stockings. For me, personally, tattoos are like salt and if what you got ain't tasty, no amount of seasoning can make you tasty to me. I think some females do tattoos as a gimick, and that just rubs me wrong. People trying to be the opposite of the norm are actually the least creative people alive. Not sure if you are returning to performing post child, but after directing an IR feature, I hope you are considering your on screen debut. My favorite scenes other than the MILF genre are the Burning Angel IR scenes. Now, anyone could do those, but Joanna has made a career of it. Yep, I'm DEFINITELY not a fan of all the tattoos that have flooded the industry. Tattoos are NOT feminine, they're masculine and are a major turn off for me and apparently a lot of others. Imo all of the tattooed girls need to go back to posing for biker mags and stripping, and leave the filming to the girls who haven't scarred their bodies. Well, I have seen evidence that talent managers realize that tatoos are a turn off and are trying to get girls with few or no tatoos, but I guess the supply is low? Ofcourse, there are girls that are awesome in spite of all the ink - like Romi Rain.

Well I like some girls with tattoos in the right places in all. I'm ok with Romi Rain , Samantha Saint, and Mason Moore as long they don't go over board. I here rumor if it's true that some companies don't hire girls who have too many tattoos.
I don't "get" tattoos in general, but with porn, performance comes before everything else. So although I have preferences, I'm not turned off.

I don't like tattoos on women - both in my personal life and in porn. If an adult performer has a tattoo i'm immediately turned off; there are a lot of beautiful adult performers who i unfortunately cannot give myself over to, because of the fact that they have tattoos. And it's not just big, elaborate tattoos i have a problem with - even tiny ones annoy me.

Not sure if anyone uses this thread as a poll, but in case it has any influence, I find that tattoos and fake body parts make performers a lot less attractive and less likely for me to buy their product.

Some women can look good with tatoos if they commit to it like Bella Bellz in the same way male gang bangers and bikers etc look good cos its part of a package but generally i feel that for women aspiring to a conventional idea of prettiness then i would say that tatoos detract from their apeal.
Let me put in some more of my own two cents. When I comes to tattoos on a star it shouldn't detract from the performance. Appearance is one thing, performance is another. For example, there is a certain star that I am thinking of as I type this (not saying her name). Right now she is one of the hottest porn stars going and almost spotless when it comes to tattoos and has a fucking nice body. Seeing my dog lick his balls is more enjoyable than seeing any of her scenes. Boring and overrated. Now lets take Bonnie Rotten for example. I will admit I didn't find her tattoos attractive at first but as soon as I saw her go to work in one of her scenes I got harder than a diamond. When it comes to Rotten and the porn star I am alluding to Rotten shits all on her career with just one of her scenes. There are some people who like women just for their body type and whether or not they are inked up. Me personally it will always be performance over appearance.

people have preferences in sex, and porn, and physical attractivity. this is a discussion forum for porn. people are naturally going to discuss their preferences. if you take it as an insult that someone doesn't find your tattoos attractive - that's on you. expecting people not to discuss their preferences just because you disagree with them, is just as ignorant as expecting everyone to agree all the time. Whether a woman has tattoos or not has no effect on me during a scene. How much art a person has on their body is way way down on the list of things I care about when I'm watching a scene but to each their own. Maybe I tend to fit the bill here. Last day's orgy coming around from out of California was no top of the chart on my showoff of freshly made flesh & tart. Frat House Orgy promised a lot. I'm with the crowd that does not like tattoos distracting me from seeing the wonderful shape of a woman. The reason I like women is they don't look like men. The reason they don't look like men is they have curves. If I am staring at the art on their bodies, and it may be wonderful art, I am distracted. I am looking at naked women to see naked women. If I want to see painted canvas, I go to the art museum or a gallery. It's very much a generational thing IMO. Perhaps a class thing too. I'm white, 49 years old, from an upper middle class background. I just wasn't raised with women, or men, having tattoos, unless they were men with a tattoo from military service. The only people I was aware of having full body or sleeve tattoos were Yakuza in the 80's, when I was coming of age. So for me it's about what I'm used to seeing as well. That DOES make me "some old fuddy duddy conservative", odd as that seems to me as I'm pretty liberal among my peers. And I hate conservative attitudes, and am probably the biggest rebel ever against the military industrial complex/ paramilitary / police state, and I hate the general lack of privacy everyone seems to be OK with. Like Frank Zappa said, do whatever you like as ling as you don't hurt anyone else. Elsewhere, on other internet sites, and in person, I am greatly rebuked by those that say I am judging people based on their tattoos. For me, it's a personal preference, I have none myself, and I don't find women with a plethora of tattoos attractive. And yes, we humans judge. Every day, all day. It is part of the way our brains categorize and store information. I look down the street and see a bunch of dudes I think may want to to me harm, and I turn the other direction. A woman decides she is not going into a bad neighborhood past a certain time of day or night. All judgement based on past experience or information gleaned, and stored. So I make no bones about judging people on what I see. For porn, what I see is what turns me on, and tattoos are a turn off. I find tattoos unattractive period whether they be on a man or woman. IMHO, they take away not enhance your personal appearance.
