I went to join a site today (Teeny Taboo) and had the option of using CC Bill or Epoch. I know and trust both, but opted to use CC Bill. I entered my information and when it came to entering my credit card information, I got an error that the merchant wouldn't accept MasterCard. It appeared that the only options were Diner's Club and Discover. I don't even know if those cards exist in Canada. I've never seen a biller that doesn't accept MasterCard or Visa, which I presume are the two most common cards on the planet.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it CC Bill that's now limiting card types? Are MasterCard and Visa withdrawing from some porn? The note that it was the "merchant" who wouldn't accept MasterCard seems odd. I assume it has nothing to do with Teeny Taboo as they don't do the billing. Teeny Taboo is a relatively benign mainstream porn site so it doesn't make sense that MasterCard and Visa wouldn't support it.

Any thoughts?

BTW - Epoch took MasterCard so all is well.
