I have noticed something...

Adult DVD Marketplace seller DVDMoviesDirect has a ton of upcoming Vivid, Club Jenna, Hustler, and VCA titles listed that won't even be released until late April. I pre-ordered my copy of Kim Kardashian way back on February 8, and no other site had it listed until 10 days later! I also pre-ordered "Debbie Does Dallas Again" 2 weeks ago, again before any other website had it. How would any website get all those titles listed in advance if they didn't have a direct pipeline to Vivid, Hustler, and VCA?

Just about any distributor has info on future releases. They don't need to be directly connected to the studio to take pre-orders.

Many websites pre-sell titles, yes indeed, but this is different...

For instance, they have a movie titled "Layout" listed for pre-release

http://www.adultdvdmarketplace.com/dvd_view_134422.html

with a release date of April 25 listed. Now, I just googled that movie title with its star Briana Banks, and NOTHING comes up ANYWHERE! Not even on the Vivid website, or the official Briana Banks website!!!

See what I mean???

Not only that, but they are the ONLY seller I've ever seen who pre-sells new classic releases from Caballero.

I have purchased from DVDMoviesDirect and they are not affiliated with Vivid. They are an adult video retailer that just happens to really pay attention to advertisements for upcoming releases. The AVN magazine displays several ads for upcoming releases that are not listed on the company websites. If they were vivid they also would not sell the videos at that deep of a discount. I purchased Porny Monster from them and when the dvd arrived, it had a big pink starry sticker that stated "New Release". They are just a retail store that sells on marketplace. No Vivid in disguise here. They are very reliable to buy from by the way.

Google is not a good source for release data information, especially for new releases.

There's no conspiracy.

I doubt many performers know the street dates of their upcoming releases 4 weeks in advance (and even if they did far fewer would consider updating their own websites announcing the releases so soon.) Hell, some directors at some companies don't even know the official release dates 4 weeks in advance. The first people to usually find out about future releases are studio-direct customers on a faxed order sheet.
