This issue has been discussed here before. I'd like to really get into it here though.
1) Euro chicks look better. They are healthier, more trim, and have natural boobs for the most part. They have less tattoos, wrinkles and tend not to cake their makup. They just look more fresh and nubile. On the other hand most American porn girls look like they just stepped out of the trailer park. Most Euro chicks look like they just stepped off the runway.
2) Euro chicks do it all. Not only are they hot, but they do everything. They attack anal and a2m with a passion rarely seen in American porn, particularly from the top stars. Euro chicks aren't afraid to swallow, and don't balk at interacial sex. When was the last time you heard a Euro go on about how her family was fine with porn as long as she stayed away from the darkies?
3) Euro sex is shot and lit better. Good cinematic angles, not a ridiculous amount of POV (which is just cheap one man camera work) and very little washout. The skin tones are almost always matched to the lighting so that fair skinned chicks are radiant, and tan chicks glow a golden brown.
4) Euro dudes keep wood. Nuff said.
5) Euro flix don't waste time. They get right to it. A little intro of the chick, and then BAM into the sex. Not 20 minutes of a close up on some guy yaking about bullshit. Which brings us to...
6) Euro flix focus on the chick. They don't spend half the scene with the camera right in the guys face talking trash while he's fucking. They show plenty of the chick's facial expression (which I like) and balance it with penetration. The guy is just a tool.
7) Euro flix avoid stupid themes. You see far less of this clown makeup and stupid crack-whore themes. The silly interracial and anal themes are also avoided. "Stop my ass is on fire". WTF is that? And then they actually the chick saying this ridiculous nonsense.
8) Euro flix are less degrading. For some reason punching, slapping, and horrid name calling have become popular in American porn. Max Hardcore is likely the impetus for this trend. If you're doggy fucking a chick and you put your foot on her head, something is wrong with you. There is nothing at all sexy about that. Or gagging a chick until she pukes. That's just gross.
So, I'm staying Euro for awhile. At least until the American product shows some improvement...

I like Euro porn for lingerie and fancy clothes, and for solo and g/g fisting. But I don't think either American or European porn is better than the other in every single respect. They are what they are.
I really wish that there was even more mixing of American and Euro talent and directors than there already is. I mean, there already are people like Monica Sweetheart, Rita Faltoyano, Melissa Lauren, Katsumi, and guys like Steve Holmes who work in SoCal frequently, in some cases far more than in Europe, and there are American-based directors who will make road trips to Europe and other parts of the world to film the local talent, but not every Euro star can get the work visas to come to the US and not every American director makes those road trips. So not every performer gets the chance to work with every great director, and American performers working with Euro directors is extremely rare. I would like to see some of my favorite Euro girls in g/g or g/g/b scenes with my favorite American girls, but it's not likely to happen.
I prefer eastern european women as well. They are so beautiful and don't have a list of things they don't want to do. They do it all with a smile.

You must not have seen a wide variety of Euro porn? I've seen quite a few rough titles, featuring a number of acts that are simply not shot in the US for legal reasons.
Max Hardcore is one of a kind, his product is shot in the US, and is edited to meet the US laws. The unedited stuff is labeled "Euro" and sold in the US at a higher price. He is not that stupid, he is controversial and makes money by being so. But I have seen far worse than what Max has delivered in German titles.
I am biased towards the US because it's the only country I've ever lived in and it's the only country I want to live in, despite numerous flaws. So while Euro porn is great, I'd still prefer US over it.

There are plenty of hot American chicks too... As for as the boobs go, I'll agree and couldn't agree more - I detest them. Tats I dig though.
I don't need every girl to go all the way and there are plenty of girls doing IR in America. I thing your just seeing a select group and applying it to ALL the girls. I'm sure there are Euro girls who don't do IR. Now the biggest problem I have with this, is that I don't often see Euro girls with passion. Depends. Some Euro girls are hotter than US girls and vice versa. I don't think there's a clear advantage on either side. But I do tend to find that the US flicks that I've seen are more degrading than their European counterparts. For example, I find "American Bukkake" to be more degrading than John Thompson's flicks.

I'll agree on the women. The women in American porn tend to be too Southern Californianized. There is more of a variety of looks with European women. Of course there will a substantial fanbase that prefer American women for the very same reason. As far as the films themselves, I believe the size of the budget and how much the directors and producers actually care about their product are much bigger factors to the quality of the film than what continent they were shot on. I'll agree that the rougher, pushed to the limit stuff is overdone but that will always come down to personal tastes, one man's degrading is another man's edgy. Given the same budget and professional passion the differences between the two are minimal.
No, European porn isn't just plain better. Nor are all European porn actresses stunning beauties in hot lingerie. In fact, most of them are not. However, we're fortunate that there is some good Euro porn, and even some great Euro porn to give us more opportunities to see some of the hotter European starlets.
PS - As far as the wood problem goes, I just assume that European directors don't see the point of leaving such footage in the final cut. I guess they lack some American directors' sense of humor, or maybe it's a need to belittle the talent. At any rate, just because you don't see it doesn't mean it didn't happen.
