Probably half or more of the good Euro stuff i have is distributed by American-based studios (Evil Angel, Anabolic/Diabolic, Zero Tolerance, Devil's Films, Digital Sin etc.), stuff made by euro producers/directors with euro performers and crew. The truth is that outside some powerhouses like Private and maybe Swank Digital(+their internet sites) and Sineplex, there aren't any major euro studios that can compare to the american ones in terms of distribution and market penetration.

There is a number of country-based studios (in Italy, Germany, France, Spain, UK etc.), which produce interesting stuff, but they rarely get the international publicity they deserve. That's too bad, because there are some amazing gems of movies hidden in there.
