Gauge is from Missouri, and I have noticed that quite a few other performers that claim to hail from the same general area fall into the 'vertically challenged' area. A lot seem to be 5' 1" to 5' 4". The IAFD lists Jewel Denyle as being 5'2", but I had no idea until I met her. I've been surprised many times-I thought Taylor Wane was an Amazon, only to discover she's just over 5' in real life. Kobe Tai's so petite she seems almost doll-like. OTOH, Taylor St. Claire seems larger than life, at 5'8"+, as does Asia Carrera; put on the pornstar shoes and they're 6-footers.
