OK....I'm not a newbie to porn. I've rented/bought porn for a number of years, off and on. It seems like of all the flicks I've ever viewed the best scenes almost always tend to come either close to or at the very end of the movie.

I'm wondering (for any of you who actually might know) is there an actual effort on the part of the makers of adult flicks to put the best scenes near the end so as to coincide with the highest level of arousal of the viewer or what? Just curious.

I don't know, but I think it's best this way as to give the viewer a "good taste" at the end of the flick. Personally a bad scene at the end, even if the movie as a whole is great, puts a little tint on the movie for me.

They do try to start the video with a bang, and end it with you wanting more, I would think. And hopefully the middle scenes will be good enough that they won't seem too much like filler. Of course, who the hottest girls in a video are and which scenes had the hottest action is subjective, and if you disagree with the director about what scene was the hottest, your favorite scene could be closer to the middle, and if you had just hit play on your DVD player instead of using the chapter menu, the rest of the movie after your favorite scene could seem anti-climactic. It often happens to me.

I liked how in Baker's Dozen 2 after Missy Monroe had already had her face cleaned up some after the main scene, she takes a few more facials before the end credits. It was like a short encore after the big finale at the concert. I thought it was cool. I've noticed that in some videos there will be a short solo masturbation scene after the last big scene. I'm thinking of Hillary Scott's Anal Princess Diaries in particular.

I think that ideally, the first and last scenes are the strongest, but it's important to have another strong scene in the middle so that interest doesn't drift. In a five scene video, the second and fourth scenes are ideal for newer talent. Girls who are just getting their feet wet and haven't hit that groove yet. If they can provide energy it makes the whole thing come together.

Well usually i use chapter selection...i mean i can`t watch a whole porn movie entirely...it take me generally a scene or 2 depending on the hotness of the scene to jerk off... so i go directly to the scene that interest me the most, so the position dosen`t matter me much

It depends on the movie. Sometimes the best scene is at the beginning of the movie, sometimes and the end and sometimes all the scenes are good.
