Leave out the "God" reference, that could be offensive.
Taking the lords name in vain could be a bad thing.
Try sticking with,,,,"Wow, you have one sweet ass pussy"

Girls like it when a man talks dirty to them, but only when it is complimentary.

^ I think you can generalize that to 'women like compliments', or 'everyone likes compliments'.

*Cough*
I've only ever done that if I've been talking dirty to her before hand, like in a club and it's pretty clear we both know what's going to be occurring later.

Nonsense, many women PREFER usage of derogatory terms as a big part of dirty talking, including "slut", "whore", "dirty", etc.
This fun twisted thinking (ie double standard dirty talk, and certain fetishes, etc.) is among the few positive things that christianity gave us :)

I think most women like it, unless you are banging a mormon or something-which is highly unlikely.
As such, most women I've been with are much MORE comfortable WITH dialog during sex (it's all about the connection for them ... right?) which of course REQUIRES dirty talk as talking about the movie you just saw really doesn't compliment the sex. Either way, the question then becomes-what DO they want to hear?
At the very minimum, I would say the prefer something vocal that turns them on, ie fits their culture and sexuality. That would range from simple noises expressing your pleasure to vicious, sadistic, degradation talk-depending on the girl. But I feel confident that they prefer the guy isn't silent, yet many of us are. Think about the times you've heard people having sex... or even in pornos-only the women make a lot of noise (other than Lex Steele of course who should quit fucking around and just use a bull horn to steal and ruin his ending scenes :) Yet men generally don't make that much noise, they should (except for Lex lol)

Indeed, because as I said there is a RANGE of likes and some women get off on that, whether you like it or not. The thread is about women in general, not just you.

Nice red herring, but fallacious and simply dishonest; here is exactly what I said, and note the comment it's quoted from on this page, was never edited:
"Nonsense, many women PREFER usage of derogatory terms as a big part of dirty talking, including "slut", "whore", "dirty", etc."
So either you don't know what "many" means, or you don't know what a "generalization" is... or much more likely (as I know you're intelligent and know what they both mean): You ignored that I gave an opinion about how some women, do very much like degradation talk so you could pick a fight with me, cuz you were in a bad mood, and think I'm fun to wrestle with.
And put the bowl of attitudies aside for a moment and as perhaps our site sex expert, answer me someting: Does this degradation talk not go along with Sub/Dom stuff (in this case of course we're talking about a sub woman)? You know it does, I know it does because as you know, I think I'm a switch, but know the sub side pretty well, thus vocational knowledge, and you know a lot about it, more than me if I recall-so you know the comment is not only true, but not intended as an insult, nor would it be interpreted as such.... except by one looking for a good fight (is this a habit by chance? are you good at creating a good fight out of thin air... takes one to know one).
And ultimately... this says that you don't care about my opinion, valid or not at this time, at least on this issue, but want to push yours as the only valid opinion-pretty silly since you're really the one generalizing: By disagreeing with me, and offering YOUR preference in sexuality as your rebuttal... are you not saying ALL WOMEN are like YOU, and therefore I cannot be correct in what I said? No question that DOES look like a generalization. So... you're just a projectarino: We see subconsciously you called yourself out, through me. Claiming I did what YOU actually did. Again, I can only assume it means not only do YOU like me, but so does your subconscious. Apparently you're so sweet on me, you'll pick a fight so I give you my attention, you're sweet.
Now, I offer this explanation as it's much more attractive than the alternative: Which is fanaticism on your part and a streak of self importance. Disagreeing with me on a claim I have a monopoly on (it is VERY UNLIKELY you know any of my past lovers, including the women that like/d degrading talk in their sexuality. Thus the only valid opinions on THOSE women, are by people who had a sexual relationship with them), then making it personal (basically saying I called YOU a whore lol) and now being duplicitous by claiming I made a generalization. I didn't even say "Majority" which you need, at best, to call it a generalization.
By your logic here, if I say, "Some women have a pissing fetish", according to you I just said "women have a pissing fetish" as needed to be a "generalization". Bullshit, and nothing fancier. Clearly someone has a problem admitting they are wrong and would prefer to act silly than to simply say "You're right, but I find the idea that men say it, and SOME women not just go along with it, but actually enjoy it completely horrid and self destructive on the part of the women" ... or a rational reaction like that.
But I said nothing offensive and I find very little in sexuality offensive. What do you care if some women get off on it? Are you saying I'm lying? Are you saying if I call a girl a "whore" in bed because it gets her hot, or I enjoy roleplaying, etc.... that it means I believe that she is a whore? On what basis? Without hopping miles to that false connection, I cannot find how the comment would offend you and/or rile you up.
That's a huge stretch, I'm not a mysogynist, nor did I generalize women-so both of your points are off base and at best, impolite. I like you, so I'll assume you were having a bad day and were looking for a place to direct some anger and I happened to step near you or you particularly find me a very attractive mate for aggression as needed (egocentric but possible).
But don't twist me saying "some women LOVE to be called degrading names in bed" into you and I are in bed and I just called you a whore, that's beyond a stretch and thus one thing is for sure: Your motive in this silly discourse is masked. So if you let it go-recognizing my comment was not only harmless, but valid, I'll chalk up your "off base" replies as a compliment.
Besides SSG, sex is really about chemistry right... it's like chess: Mark might beat Amy, then Amy might beat Roberta, but then Roberta beats Mark-which means from a simple logic standpoint, the worst player just beat the best player. It's NOT logical, unless... it's a chemistry game and experiment: Showing how two minds in particular fit together while not revealing how either would fit with any other minds... including ones already related to the other test subject. So who knows what unknown things, you, I, or anyone would come to like, given the right circumstances and partner. Hell, I got a new fetish in the last year and I'm 38. Who wants a static sexuality?
Now can we hug, make up and the second you relax I'll try to cop a feel, thus giving you a VALID reason to get mad, batter me as threatened, and release some of this anger... what are friends for :)
So by the way, what IS "interesting" (ie non-vanilla) about your sexuality... It does seem that's what you wanted to talk about and you're right, it sounds MUCH more interesting than things I already know. So please, I'm all ears, you have the floor :)

See? ROFLMAO.
Did I say anything about you being a mysogonist? Or anything about you and I in bed???
Where the fuck did that come from?
I stated my opinion dude. About my preferences and about where generalizing gets you. Nothing more.
You're the one that went off on the irrellevant tangent. NOT ME. So get off your high horse.
I still stand by my statement. I don't like being called a slut or whore, dirty or otherwise.

There are limits in D/s relationships that are set between partners usually before they even begin. If one partner is turned off by humiliation or degradation that would be considered a limit for them. For example, if a Dom/top decides he's going to push a hard limit with his sub/bottom he can do that. However, if this "limit" is an absolute no, there would be consequences such as not being able to play with that partner again or having that partner let other subs and bottoms know that he does not respect hard limits or absolute no's. I have even seen a few people get kicked out of clubs and groups based on the fact that they've lost credibility because of their treatment of their Dom/top or sub/bottom.
Yes, that sub/bottom has every right to use their safeword to stop play but they also have the right to tell that Dom/top to fuck off and never play with them again. Reputations in that lifestyle can be made and ruined by not respecting limits.
As a bottom there are several absolute no's such as scat, pissing, humiliation, degradation, breathe play, knife play, needle play ect ect....as a top I will not play along with those kinks either. I will not ask a partner to do anything to me that I would not do to them in return. What happens between consenting adults is between those involved. I have never tried to claim otherwise here or on any other site.
Those are MY limits and MY rules. If someone else gets off on those kinks it is their responsibilty to find a partner with the same kinks.
You said,

It wasn't a joke, it was absolutely serious, and obviously true: Why the hell do you think in the 80's porn stars (female) frequently wore the christian focus of death symbol: The crucifix? Why does so much porn have a focus on priests and nuns? Why do some men have a thing for the "catholic school girl outfit" and thus a common thing for a stripper or porn star to wear! etc. Obviously you haven't thought this through, nor how relevant religion is to a porn forum. If religion X dictates morality via rules, and thus lumps in sexual behavior as a "morality issue", are you saying it doesn't affect sexuality? Are you saying christianity has had no impact on "sodomy" (which means any anal or oral sex, funny christians never freak out about blowjobs and instead pretend sodomy refers only to anal sex eh?)? You must be saying such things to make your claim, again, obviously you didn't think about it long.
There is NO QUESTION that anything twisted in one's culture, personal, social, national or otherwise has a large impact on one's sexuality, and particularly fetishes.
See, you're getting confused and thinking this is "mixed company" or a business party or a fund raiser or something professional For example, as a member of several boards in my town-and a public figure due to my profession (my face is in the paper every week, I'm in the public eye) I NEVER mention religion on facebook as it is primarily a professional medium for me and that indeed makes it "mixed company", etc. For example, while I think LDS has the craziest and most ridiculous of all the christian theologies, my town is 18% Mormon and I have more Mormon clients than anyone else in my industry-none of them know that I'm likely the biggest heathen in my industry in that I am likely the furthest from their or any christian belief system, as a Buddhist and thus an atheist.
If this was such a situation, you'd be right on par with your point, as I agree there are 3 no-no topics: in "mixed company" and professionalism: Sex, religion, politics. But this is not "mixed company" nor a professional medium or situation, this is a freaking porn forum. Further, again, sexuality and religion are indeed very much related-so the subject of religion coming up specifically in such a context (ie how it influences sexuality) is not only appropriate, but quite interesting, unless you are pretentious.
However if it makes you feel better, of the Abrahamic Religions(and by this term, I mean those deriving from Abraham, which to me include 4: Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and Bahai) I would argue that the best one here is Judaism, as of the four, it's the only one that focuses on LIFE instead of DEATH (and I'm pleased to engage anyone in that debate). Which is interesting since the 2 biggest religions in the world (Christianity and Islam) come from a religion of LIFE, yet they focus on DEATH.

Nice straw man argument, but the reality is exactly what I said. Claiming it's a tarnished ego is a mere distraction from the reality: Self importance and apparently narcissism. And your childish response only shows a double standard: Degradation talk in any capacity is okay toward a man lol.
I guess we're all weird in our own ways.

And by the way SSG, you avoided (ie cowardice) my question which attempted once again to bring dialog into your monologue. It is CERTAINLY part of sub/dom behavior-again you twisted it into a statement of "requirement". Pissing is also PART of sub/dom behavior. Your tastes are irrelevant if the question is about FACTS. You turning such statements into falsehoods due to them contradicting YOUR preferences, again reveals narcissism and nothing fancier than that.
I see now your professor title may be unwarranted as your info is limited by your beliefs, not something becoming of a teacher. Teachers are impartial and certainly not wildly emotional when valid statements they don't agree with are made.

The original question ...."Is it okay to talk dirty first time you fuck a gal?"
Some women like being called a slut and a whore, others don't. SSG is a real woman who voiced her opinion on what she didn't like, no need to beat her up over it. She gave her personal tastes and we should all feel happy that she did, she speaks for herself and not EVERY woman. Verbage can do a lot for an encounter, particularly the first time. Try starting out with..."You are so sexy" "Your pussy is so tight" "I love the way your body feels"
I have been with some girls who love to do "slutty" things but if I were to call them a "Slut" they would be offended, and not only be offended but turn to ice at the drop of a hat because "She isn't a slut or whore" and takes offense to being called one even though she enjoys doing nasty stuff.
Hope that makes sense.

What you see in porn is women doing what the director wants them to do, or what they believe the viewer wants to see. You are rarely viewing what the women themselves would choose for personal pleasure.

Regarding the original topic...
It's probably okay to talk dirty the first time you're with a gal, as long as you are circumspect with what you say. I wouldn't get too graphic or use any kind of derogatory words the first time around. At least not if you are hoping for a second time around. Because you don't know how she's going to react to what you say... she might like it, she might not. She isn't going to dump you over a little bit of dirty talk, but if you shout out all your glorious porn lingo the first time and she isn't into that - you're outta there.
Personally, I like dirty talking during sex. I don't like derogatory words (and I was into BDSM) and some jargon doesn't do it for me. Compliments phrased graphically are fine, but what I really like is to hear is how my partner is feeling. Like, instead of Heynow's "Fuck! That is one goddamned tight pussy!" I'd prefer, "Fuck! That tight pussy is driving me crazy!" or... you know... like that.
One thing I really don't like, and sadly my guy does this sometimes, is the questioning dirty talk. "Do you like that hard cock in your pussy?" Well, DUH! Yes, yes I do like that hard cock in my pussy! For some reason the questioning breaks my focus on the sex and distracts me. I guess I think I have to respond to the question and I feel like it puts me on the spot to come up with a correct response or something.

so are you saying that the directors TELL the girls what to say in the scene? the dirty talk can seem pretty genuine sometimes (other times it clearly sounds fake)

They rarely tell the performers what to say, unless there is a script or clear theme involved. They do tell the performers to say something, to moan, to scream or whatever they want. They exhort performers to make some sort of noise with comments like, "C'mon people, this isn't a silent movie. Let me hear you!"
Performers who are adept at talking dirty on cue, convincingly, or with a wide range of phrasing are better performers than those that can't, don't, won't or are lousy at it. Better performers get hired more. So what you see is a result of that.

Do you guys remember the Seinfeld episode where he tried talking dirty with a new girl? He accidentally slipped out "are those the panties your mother laid out for you?"... And out the door she went. There's a lesson to be learned there

great reference Ted! that was a hilarious episode.
as to the dirty talking, most women i have been with enjoyed a little word play and seemed to help relax them and get them just a little further into it. Mind you im never disrespectful to my partners just dirty and pervy ;) a little creativity goes a long way. things like telling her how sexy she is, fantasy and role play talk, complimenting her body and telling her how bad you want to make her cum..in my experience these examples can really help get her going and connecting with you.
i did have a girl tell me once that i made too much noise and talked too much during but she was a weird one and would only let me get her from behind while demeaning her, so i couldn't go there twice anyway.
