Is it still possible to become a MALE Porn Star and make a living doing it now? Well, is it?

I've been in the porn game for a long time. Try 30 years. Not performing, just watching it. Now back in the 1990's you could've had one hell of a life being a male porn star. Just like Peter North, Vince Voyeur, Jon Dough, Mark Davis, Alex Sanders, TT Boy, Mr Marcus, Dave Hardman, Mickey G, Frank Towers, Steve Hatcher, Tom Byron, Randy West, Rocco Siffredi, Joey Silvera, Michael J Cox, Marc Wallice, Tony Tedeschi, Kyle Stone, Billy Glide and I could go on and on with the names. But these guys were screwing the hottest girls and some guys were making like at least $100K a year doing it. Just imagine going in and having to f*ck girls like Jenna Jameson or Jill Kelly or Asia Carrera for a job and be making $1,000 a day doing it. It sure beats working a normal job. Is that kind of life even possible anymore nowadays in 2021? I follow some popular male porn stars on social media like Tom Byron and Dale DaBone and a few others and these guys are working normal jobs these days.

What are your thoughts?

I like how you consider yourself in the game by watching. Lol!

In answer to your question, there have to be male performers doesn't there? I doubt if a job that some average Joe can get by answering a want ad. You probably have to know someone. But they have to keep replenishing the male talent. Obviously not as much as the females but it still has to happen.

This is stating the obvious, but as Trent Tesoro pointed out in Down the Hatch 9, it helps when you have a girl to bring with you. He was dating Ashley Blue at the time.

None of these guys are performing today, you wasted your prime years watching others live your dream. Anything is possible, there's old guys banging chicks on video right now (hot clits and desert wind). It seems you're more focused on being a star rather than performer. The 90's have passed and won't be coming back. Look towards the future, have a cartonist draw you as a stud having sex with hot blondes.

Be well

Up until a few months ago, I told guys this was their only way, but the market has changed a little bit.
If you are willing to move, Europe and Japan are currently in need of male performers. So long as you are in great shape, have an above-average sized cock, and have few or no tattoos, you can get a shot.

Certain other types of "looks" are in-demand, such as the twink/schoolboy look, and black guys with big penises. Big demand for these in North American productions right now, and don't necessitate prior experience or having a female performer.

The average pay is about $500-$1000 per scene in North America and Europe. If you are in-demand, expect to work at least 3 times per week. It's not earth-shattering money, but it's for only a few hours of work and you have so much free time.

A really good performer can earn $100k/year

^You would know better than me but can most male performers really work 3 times or more per week? I know there aren't many male performers in the industry but since a select few seem to be the go to for so most producers and many other producers now only shoot themselves POV style than it must not leave as many job opportunities as it once did for the rest. Of course if they can get as many job opportunities as you said and I take your prices to be pretty accurate than a male performer who works 3 times per week (I averaged the rate per scene to 750$) then he can expect to earn about 117,000.0$ per year if her works 52 weeks. Somehow I doubt most male performers can work as much and even if they can. They probably want to enjoy life a little so I expect most take at least 4 weeks off per year leaving them 48 weeks to earn a gross income of 105,000$ That's before any expenses because if he has an agent then 10% of that goes to him/her leaving him with 94,500$ to which he must deduct another 4900$ for his 14 day STI test( I used TTS Gold Standard testing cost) leaving him with 89,600$ before taxes and any other expenses. Still a huge amount of money in my opinion but doesn't mean if you can't earn it long term.

That said I think this discussion is mostly moot because guys that fantasize about shooting porn have no concept of what it entails and no matter how great looking they arte or the size of their equipment his. Ultimately the moment they are in front of a bunch of guys who expect him to get hard, stay hard for as long as needed and can't ejaculate until told to do so. They wind up having performance issues that sink their hope of being a porn performer. Even shooting with their significant other won't mean much if they are in front of strangers who expect them to have porn sex instead of real sex.

^ So if I understand what you're saying, a mid-50s guy with a dad bod doesn't really have much of a chance? Jeez... way to burst my bubble!

^Not necessarily because I did mention that many producers now shoot themselves POV style. You can go that route and doing that means that you and the women will be alone therefore negating the negative issues regarding performing in fron of strangers.

3^He said a really good performer, not Johnny Come Lately. It's sex "work" in the sense you to perform regardless if you like the person or not, not let's go bang some chicks and get paid. Don't forget also, that while the average person is drooling over a Celluloid Princess getting drilled by Dixon Cider, the meatstick has to deal with the real person. I've met plenty of porn babes over the years and some really hot chicks in general, and can say, the minute they open their mouths, the illusion is ruined. I wouldn't want to bang them regardless of whether I'm getting paid or not.

Yes, Mike is very correct, and I say "very" because it can get scary.
Although you can turn down a scene, sometimes it is difficult to get it up for a super hot girl.
I've met male porn performers who are young, and look like fashion models, shoot up their penises before a scene.
And guys taking 60mg cialis pills. I didn't even know they make those in that dosage. Insane.
