or at least done directing for evil angel ? i was looking on there website and his last movie was nearly a year ago. there was a sasha grey compilation released by him for evil angel in january. but 6 months with nothing at all and nearly a year with no original content. his movies are still up on there site though so technically he must still be signed with them as i noticed they remove directors who are no longer working for them when they leave. does anyone know if he is retired , taking a break , dead ?

^ as far as I know Jake is mostly performing for other directors right now. He keeps popping up in MeanBitch Productions scenes, so I at least know he's still out there perving out. Jake has been having some serious financial problems over the last year, and he's just trying to get the capitol to resume production. This is from what I understand of the situation from an e-mail I got from Jake about it several months ago, so I don't know what the recent news is.
I hope he gets back on his feet and starts releasing new movies again soon.

oh so evil angel buys his scenes from him rather than paying for him to shoot ? is that how it mostly works in porn when your a director for a company you have supply your own expenses for the shoots than they buy the finished product for a price ?

^ Not quite. Some companies pay a director to shoot movies for them, but Evil Angel just distributes the movies. So Jake produces his own movies through Jake Malone Productions, and Evil puts them out on DVD for him. Jake could probably do the same thing through a different distributor, but the Evil Angel name has a huge following. So being distributed by them is pretty prestigious in the industry.
That's why all the directors have their name in huge lettering on the cover, they want to make sure the audience knows that the movies are a product of the director/company that made it and that Evil is just distributing.
As far as I know; Evil, and Jules Jordan Video are the only companies that do that.

I was looking over Evil Angel's web site this wondering where the hell Jake Malone was. Now I kind of know. Jake get that money raised. We miss you.

I would if it meant I could continue doing what I love. Jake has his own brand of gonzo that fans love. If I was him; I wouldn't mind sacrificing 10k if it meant being able to make another "Fuck Slaves" or "Bitchcraft".
