I always see people being chastised for critcizing performers on here, and I wonder why. Porn is like any form of entertainment, and it is open to critique. We critique our favorite actors, athletes, and singers, and we should be able to critique our favorite pornstars too.

Porn (the entertainment) is open to critique. Pornstars (the people) are here to talk with you. If you don't understand what it means to talk TO performers/people rather than ABOUT them you should reconsider whether this is the right forum for you.

What he said. You're not comparing the same environment. Even with the best intentions, a pornstar who frequents this forum and posts on it could take a criticism as a personal attack and encourage their friends not to participate.
To be blunt, I'm a lot less interested in your "critique" than a pornstar's input, especially if such critique discourages their contribution here.
There are plenty of forums where you're welcome to say what you like about Hooty McBoob or whomever. This one doesn't have to follow suit.

Many of these people aren't "chastised" enough, if it all. For example, Dvamp44's recent "Butt Implants" thread was pretty much open season on pornstars. Consider the most recent post on that thread as a case in point:

And why aren't people being chastised enough? Is something wrong with the "Message Moderator" link or do you just find it easier to sit by and do nothing about the problem?

^Hmm, so you would describe my comment about the issue, a comment to which you replied, as sitting by and doing nothing?
Thanks for your helpful analysis.

This just turned into a white knight thread. I'm out of here. We need to encourage open discussion instead of censorship.

I fail to understand why as a general rule those who have manners and DEMAND the same behaviour are criticized ,instead the assholes should be praised and even encouraged.
What is an "open discussion" ?
I've seen many , people saying things like I don't like her botox face in a star official thread a thread where the star comes regularly.
Criticism is one thing open isult camouflaged as criticism are intolerable
and BTW between a white knight and an asshole I'd always choose the Knight

If you're talking about "White Knights" then ADT probably isn't the place for you.
The only people who talk about "White Knights" or "Capt Save-a-Hoes" are the people who wish to talk shit about porn stars with no repercussions.
That is directly counter to our ADT forum etiquette.
Read the third paragraph in detail, and listen to the quote from Katsuni.
Also, fanman44, why did you start this thread again, when you already started it once before, and I closed it, with reasons given?
